Conventional syntheses of robust Zr-based metal-organic frameworks (Zr-MOFs) rely on harsh solvothermal conditions, precluding the inclusion of fragile functionalities such as enzymes or organisms. Therefore, developing routes to such stable frameworks under ambient conditions remains a significant challenge. Here, we report a mild aqueous solid-state crystallization (SSC) strategy that enables Zr-MOF assembly at ambient temperature.

Influence of Obstacles on the Vented Hydrogen Deflagration in an Explosion Tube.

The internal pressure curves of different hydrogen concentrations are analyzed in the presence of an obstacle. The internal overpressure has two obvious overpressure peaks without an obstacle.

An exploratory psychometric network analysis of depression scales in a sample of adolescents.

Background: There is heterogeneity in existing depression scales, which may lead to measurement bias. This study aimed to investigate the clustering of depressive symptoms in adolescents, including central symptoms as well as similarities and differences among four commonly used depression scales. Additionally, the study examined gender differences in network structures to explore the suitability of these scales.

The Intrinsic Association of Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms Among Chinese Police Officers During COVID-19: Evidence From Network Perspective.

Background: The current study aimed to identify the core posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) and to explore the longitudinal predictive relationships of these symptoms among Chinese police officers during COVID-19. Identifying the important symptoms of PTSS could help with informing future research to alleviate police officers' psychological problems.

Methods: In this study, a two-wave on-line investigation (4 months interval; T1 and T2) was conducted with a sample of 891 Chinese police officers who completed the Chinese version of PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5).

Inherent CeO Pore Structure Confined Pd for the Catalytic Performance Regulation.

In this study, we synthesized CeO possessing an open pore structure and verified its structural differences compared to CeO lacking such an open pore structure. Using these two CeO samples as catalyst supports and loading them with Pd metals, a series of characterizations were carried out on the resultant catalysts to analyze their structures and properties meticulously. We have elucidated the influence of the open pore structure on the loading position of Pd.

The role of the CCL5-CCR5 axis in microglial activation leading to postoperative cognitive dysfunction.

Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is a common complication following surgeries involving general anesthesia. Although the CCL5-CCR5 axis is implicated in various neurological conditions, its role in POCD remains unclear. In our POCD model, we observed an increase in CCL5 and CCR5 levels concurrent with microglial activation and significant upregulation of inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and IL-1β.

The current study conducted a three-level meta-analysis of 48 studies published before January 25, 2022, from 5 scientific databases.

Adenomyosis (ADS) is a common gynecological disorder, and its pathogenesis remains unclear. This study explores the functions of circRNAs in the eutopic endometrium of ADS and their diagnostic efficacy for ADS. High-throughput RNA sequencing was performed on 12 eutopic endometrial samples from ADS patients and 3 control endometrial samples.

Background: Quercetin (QU) plays an important role in treating periodontitis; however, the mechanism through which microRNAs regulate Th17 cell differentiation has not been determined.

Methods: QU was administered intragastrically to periodontitis rats once a day for one month. The morphology of alveolar bone was observed by micro-CT, gingival tissue structure was observed by HE staining, IL-6, TNF-α, IL-17A, RORγt, FOXP3 and IL-10 were detected by immunohistochemical staining, and Th17 and Treg cells in the peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry.

Background: Macrophages play an essential role in regulating ovarian cancer immune microenvironment. Studies have shown that m6A methylation could influence immune microenvironment in cancer. In this study, we investigated the roles of m6A demethylase ALKBH5 and m6A recognition protein IGF2BP2 played in regulating macrophages polarization in ovarian cancer.

The present study identified the important comorbidity symptoms and explored longitudinal relationship of PTSS and depression symptoms from the network perspective. The dyadic effects of individual resilience on family resilience among Chinese parents and children during COVID-19.

Previous studies have mainly focused on examining families' struggles during the adaptive process of adversity, while the strength of family and how it arises were neglected. This study aims to explore the relationships between individual and family resilience among parents and children in families during COVID-19. Guided by the longitudinal actor-partner interdependence model, one parent and a child in 136 Chinese families completed assessments of pandemic media exposure and individual resilience in mid-February 2020 and family resilience in early March.
