The lower limb motion capture technology has garnered significant attention as a pivotal enabler in extended reality, sports science, film production, and medical rehabilitation. However, existing mature systems face critical challenges, including restricted operational environments, interference with natural activities, and cumbersome wearability. Here, a flexible insole pressure sensor array with an ultra-wide sensing range is developed using dip coating, laser cutting, and hot pressing, enabling lower limb motion capture.

However, achieving high-efficiency, low-loss SiC substrates remains a significant challenge. This study introduces an innovative dual-focus, double-layer laser slicing technique for SiC, incorporating spherical aberration correction into the traditional weighted Gerchberg-Saxton (GSW) approach.

Mixed infection refers to the presence of multiple strains within one host, while heteroresistance denotes the coexistence of drug-susceptible and drug-resistant strains or genotypes. Mixed infections and heteroresistance with can complicate drug resistance diagnosis, treatment options, and transmission inference. We conducted a population-based genomic epidemiological study of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in Shanghai, China, between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2018, to evaluate the prevalence and impact of mixed infection and heteroresistance on MDR-TB diagnosis and treatment outcomes.

While research on frailty in AD has grown rapidly, a thorough analysis of key research hotspots and trends remains insufficient.ObjectiveThis study employs bibliometric methods to systematically explore core themes, identify potential frontiers and emerging directions in this field.

Tuberculosis (TB), particularly extremely drug-resistant TB (EDR-TB), remains a significant public health concern worldwide. Understanding the transmission patterns and epidemiological characteristics of EDR-TB is vital for effective disease control. Between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2018, we collected clinical strains in Shanghai, with whole-genome sequencing performed on 58 identified clinical EDR-TB strains.

However, the epidemiological characteristics of CRE isolates in animals remain elusive. We comprehensively investigated the genetic features of carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae isolates recovered from minks in Shandong province, China.

However, fewer studies have been conducted on their genotoxicity and mechanisms. In this study, we evaluated the effects of TCEP and TNBP on cellular DNA damage in GT1-7 cells and examined the role of estrogen signaling in regulating DNA damage.

The advent of tumor-targeting therapeutics provided a promise in the landscape of advanced HCC but it is still ongoing due to the indistinguishable receptor expression and receptor abundance between hepatocytes and HCC cells. Herein, a GSH-responsive prodrug, CA-PEG-ss-PTX, was synthesized with cholic acid (CA), paclitaxel (PTX) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) and further applied to physically encapsulate PTX, forming PTX/CA-PEG-ss-PTX (PTX/CPSP).

This cross-sectional study assessed the well-being of family members affected (AFMs) by substance use disorder (SUD) of other family members. Mental symptoms, social avoidance, and quality of life (QoL) were measured for 775 Chinese AFMs and 206 controls. Saliva from 65 AFMs and 31 controls was analyzed for cortisol, BDNF, proBDNF, and mRNA levels of BDNF and its receptors (TrkB, P75, Sortilin).

Methods: Data are reported from the extended dataset (patients receiving continuous baricitinib 2 mg or 4 mg) and the all-baricitinib dataset (all patients receiving any dose of baricitinib at any time during the trials). Safety outcomes include treatment-emergent adverse events, adverse events of special interest, and abnormal changes in laboratory test results.
Background: Blood inflammatory status is closely associated with tuberculosis (TB) progression. Emerging inflammatory indices from different leukocyte subtypes have become a prognostic hotspot for various diseases, yet their application in TB prognosis remains limited. This study aims to assess the impact of inflammatory status on TB patients' prognosis and its potential as a prognostic indicator to optimize prognostic assessment and therapeutic strategies.

In recent years, outbreak of the novel duck reovirus (NDRV) disease has occurred frequently in duck populations. Due to its rapid spreading, absence of effective control methods, and high treatment costs, the NDRV disease has caused huge losses to waterfowl breeding in China. As reported, four non-structural (NS) proteins are encoded by the NDRV genome, among which the σNS protein is an RNA-binding protein that can improve the stability of bound RNA by forming oligomers (Adams and Cory, 1998).

To address this challenge, we have developed a novel recombinant human immunoglobulin G degrading enzyme KJ103, characterized by low immunogenicity and clinical value for the elimination of anti-AAV antibodies in gene transfer. Herein, we conducted two randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose Phase I studies in China and New Zealand, to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety and immunogenicity of KJ103 in healthy volunteers.

Wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) devices are the mainstream technology in the diagnosis of various cardiovascular diseases, in which soft, flexible, permeable electrodes are the key link in human-machine interface to capture bioelectrical signals. Herein, we propose a self-template strategy to fabricate silver-coated fiber/silicone (AgCF-S) electrodes. With a simple dissolving-curing-redissolving process, the polyvinyl acetate shell around the AgCF core is in-situ removed to form a three-dimensional (3D) multi-channel structure.
