Cell homing and stem cell transplantation offers promising approaches for pulp regeneration. This study investigated the efficacy of an injectable concentrated growth factor gel for dental pulp regeneration in beagles. Six groups of beagle teeth were studied: Blank control group, CGF group, Collagen sponge group, CGF + Collagen sponge group, Dental pulp stem cells group, CGF + Dental pulp stem cells group.

Methods: The effects of VPA on pulp regeneration and reparative dentin formation were examined using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and histological staining in vivo after 3 months of endodontic regenerative procedures (ERPs). In vitro, the effect of VPA on the odontogenic differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) was assessed using mineralization assays following lipopolysaccharide (LPS) exposure.
Background: Previous studies have shown that glycolysis-related genes (GRGs) are associated with the development of breast cancer (BC), and the prognostic significance of GRGs in BC has been reported. Considering the heterogeneity of BC patients, which makes prognosis difficult to predict, and the fact that glycolysis is regulated by multiple genes, it is important to establish and evaluate new glycolysis-related prediction models in BC.
Methods: In total, 170 GRGs were selected from the GeneCards database.
Problematic mobile phone use (PMPU) among adolescents is increasingly recognized as a significant behavioral health concern. Previous studies have found general metacognitive beliefs can positively predict PMPU. However, the longitudinal relationship between specific metacognitive beliefs and addictive behaviors has not been fully explored.

Background: Epstein-Barr virus-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (EBV-HLH) is a severe hyperinflammatory disorder induced by overactivation of macrophages and T cells. This study aims to identify the risk factors for the progression from infectious mononucleosis (EBV-IM) to EBV-HLH, by analyzing the laboratory parameters of patients with EBV-IM and EBV-HLH and constructing a clinical prediction model. The outcome of this study carries important clinical value for early diagnosis and treatment of EBV-HLH.

Introduction: Arid and semi-arid regions are climate-sensitive areas, which account for about 40% of the world's land surface area. Future environment change will impact the environment of these area, resulting in a sharp expansion of arid and semi-arid regions. is a multi-functional tree species with extreme cold, drought and barren resistance, as well as ornamental and medicinal functions.

We delved into how PCAT-1 regulates mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) and interacts with pivotal molecular pathways, especially β-catenin and PKM2, using human bone marrow-derived MSCs. MSCs were cultured under specific conditions and PCAT-1 expression was modified through transfection.

However, the effects of HRD on the clinical outcomes of first-line chemotherapy and first-line PARPi maintenance therapy have not been rigorously evaluated in Chinese EOC patients. Here, we developed an HRD assay and applied it to two large retrospectively collected Chinese EOC patient cohorts.

Thirty prepared flared root canals were selected in vitro and restored with CAD/CAM integrated fiber post-and-core (Group A), prefabricated fiber posts (Group B), and cast gold alloy (Group C), respectively. After submitted to fatigue loading, each specimen was subjected to a static loading until fracture.

The objective of this article is to study the effects of nimodipine, blocking agent of L type calcium channel, on human dentinogenesis using human tooth slice organ culture in vitro.
Methods: Young healthy human premolars were collected, and cut into 2 mm-thick transverse slices by low speed diamond saw.

Stem cell-mediated root regeneration offers opportunities to regenerate a bio-root and its associated periodontal tissues to restore tooth loss. Periodontal ligament (PDL) and cementum complex and dentin pulp complex have been tissue engineered using human dental pulp stem cells and PDL stem cells, respectively. The aim of this study was to explore whether dentin formation could be induced using an inductive substrate and whether bioengineered dentin could induce cementum and PDL formation.
