The relationship between the imbalance of flora and the development of various diseases is one of the hotspots of research in recent years. A number of studies have confirmed that () is strongly associated with the progression of periodontal disease, oral cancer, esophageal carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, Alzheimer's disease, rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases. These diseases have a great impact on human health.

The aim is to discover plasma metabolomic markers to predict RA onset, assess disease activity, and forecast treatment efficacy. The study includes 209 established RA patients who are disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs-free for six months prior to enrollment, with 197 of them followed for 3-6 months to assess treatment response.

Vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) represents a spectrum of cognitive deficits caused by cerebrovascular pathology, affecting multiple cognitive domains including memory, executive function, and attention. While pharmacological interventions for VCI remain limited, growing evidence supports acupuncture as an effective and safe therapeutic approach that improves both global cognition and activities of daily living in affected patients. Nevertheless, the neurobiological mechanisms underlying acupuncture's therapeutic effects require further elucidation.

Cognitive impairment represents one of the most prevalent and debilitating neuropsychiatric symptoms in SLE, occurring in up to 80% of patients, with significant long-term clinical consequences. Despite its high prevalence, the underlying pathogenesis remains unclear, and its insidious onset and variable presentation often lead to underdiagnosis in clinical practice.

Methods: The GSE47908 dataset from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) was subjected to principal component analysis (PCA), followed by stratified identification of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) across UC subtypes. Immune cell infiltration of these gene sets was evaluated using the CIBERSORT algorithm.
Background: Intestinal ischemia-reperfusion (II/R) injury is a serious condition characterized by high morbidity and mortality rates. Research has shown that II/R injury is closely linked to autophagy and immune dysregulation. This study aims to investigate the potential correlations between autophagy-related genes and infiltrating immune cells in II/R injury.

Presented here is a crystalline hybrid indium-based chloride with a relatively rare trigonal bipyramidal [InCl] emission center. Through single Sb doping, the compound achieves an orange broadband emission at 656 nm with a photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of up to 65.

However, the development of crystalline compounds with scintillating properties and high light yield remains a significant challenge. In this study, a simple solution method was employed to successfully synthesize a new zero-dimensional (0-D) scintillation crystal, (CHN)[MnBr] (CHN = trimethyladamantan-1-aminium).

Background: Fei-Bi decoction, a Chinese ancient experience decoction collected in the book of Bianzhenglu (Syndrome Differentiation Record). Based on Fei-Bi Decoction, Yi-Fei-Tong-Bi decoction (YFTBD) is developed and has a significant effect in the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis. However, the underlying mechanisms of YFTBD affects pulmonary fibrosis remain to be elucidated.

Despite its clinical significance, there is a lack of longitudinal research aimed at elucidating the genomic attributes that facilitate antimicrobial resistance and clonal dissemination in this bacterium. In this study, we investigated the genetic dynamics of antibiotic resistance and virulence factors within a collection of 137 isolates retrieved from a Chinese hospital over a 12-year period.

Methodology: We collected active ingredients and targets of QED according to the database of Traditional Chinese Medicine System Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform (TCMSP) and selected therapeutic targets on RA. "drug-ingredient-target" network was made for the intersecting genes.
Objective: The study is aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) on rheumatoid arthritis associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD) compared to tumor necrosis inhibitors (TNFi).
Methods: We applied a retrospective matched cohort analysis using the TriNetX database. The study included patients diagnosed with RA-ILD who received new prescriptions for JAKi or TNFi.
Aim: The continuous update of international guidelines and enhanced availability of biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (bDMARDs) and targeted synthetic DMARDs (tsDMARDs) have made a significant impact on the diagnosis and treatment of early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA). This study aims to systematically evaluate the current treatment strategies and outcomes within a large-scale cohort of patients with ERA.
Methods: Data from the Chinese Registry of Rheumatoid Arthritis (CREDIT), a large multicenter Chinese registry of RA, were collected to analyze temporal trends in clinical profiles, therapeutic strategies, and treatment outcomes among patients with ERA.

Background: Diabetes and osteoporosis, as chronic diseases with high incidence, have caused deep concern in the field of global public health due to their high morbidity and mortality. More importantly, the complex and close relationship between diabetes and osteoporosis has gradually become the focus of scientific research. It is very meaningful to carry out bibliometric analysis in the research field of diabetes and osteoporosis to describe the current international trend and present a visual representation of the past and emerging trends of diabetes and osteoporosis in the past decade.

Here, we aimed to investigate the pathogenesis of MD in RA patients (RA_MD) through an integrated multi-omics approach.
Methods: Fecal and blood samples were collected from a total of 181 subjects in this study for multi-omics analyses, including 16S rRNA and internally transcribed spacer (ITS) gene sequencing, metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and phosphoproteomics.

Background: The clinical benefit of preoperative oral nutritional supplements (ONS) in patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer remains controversial.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of preoperative ONS on postoperative clinical outcomes in patients with gastrointestinal cancer.
Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Scopus, and the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure databases for randomized controlled trials evaluating preoperative ONS in patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer from inception until April 2024.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease, and interstitial lung disease is one of the important extra-articular manifestations. There is limited evidence comparing abatacept (ABA) and tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi) regarding the risk of mortality among patients with rheumatoid arthritis associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD). The aim of this study is to investigate the risk of mortality in patients with RA-ILD treated with ABA compared to TNFi.

Distinguishing from the former hybrid rare-earth double perovskites, adopts a mixed corner- and face-sharing K/Eu-centered polyhedral connectivity to form a 3D inorganic framework, showing a rare (6, 6)-connected ion topology with a 6 framework. Notably, exhibits clear phase transition, and the switchable thermodynamic behavior is confirmed by variable-temperature dielectric measurements and second-harmonic generation response.
