This study introduces controlled lanthanum-site cation vacancies while maintaining a fixed In : La molar ratio of 1 : 2 and adjusted the LiCl content to increase the Li concentration, successfully constructing a three-dimensional (3D) lithium-ion diffusion network. This approach effectively overcomes the limitations of the original 1D channels. Experimental results demonstrate that the optimized LiLaInCl sample exhibits an exceptional lithium-ion conductivity of 0.

The decay curves of CaSrO:Ce, Eu confirmed that there was an obvious energy transfer from Ce to Eu, which enhanced the quantum efficiency of CaSrO:Eu. The thermal stability can also be enhanced by introducing Ce, which reduces the probability of non-radiative transitions at elevated temperatures, thereby minimizing electron loss.

Salidroside has been reported to have various pharmacological activities, including hypoxia tolerance, anti-radiation, and antitumor. In this study, we studied the antitumor activity of salidroside ether derivatives in the human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line Hep3B. We created eleven new benzyl halide derivatives called S1-S11 by modifying the phenolic hydroxyl groups at the C4 position of salidroside.

Herein, the spinel structure CuCoO with different morphologies was constructed as the research model for the electrocatalytic benzyl alcohol (BA) oxidation and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). By modulating the morphological structure, oxygen vacancy, and the high valence active centers, the octahedral CuCoO exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity and stability compared to other CuCoO samples with nanoplate/nanowire morphologies.

Finding the critical factor governing this process is significant for catalyst optimization, which is complicated due to the coherence between catalyst dynamics and reaction dynamics. In this work, we manipulate the formation of fast carburization on the Pd-FeO surface by revealing a domino effect between the reaction network and catalyst restructuring during long-term CO hydrogenation reaction.

The asialoglycoprotein receptor 1 (ASGR1) represents a highly promising target for drug development, with its expression regulation closely linked to various diseases. Consequently, research concentrating on targeted therapies against ASGR1 holds significant importance in devising effective treatment strategies. In this study, we utilized the CRISPR-Knockin technology to insert a firely luciferase reporter gene downstream of exon 9 of the ASGR1 gene in HepG2 cell line.

Background: Age-related ovarian dysfunction, characterized by declining follicular reserve and hormonal imbalance, poses a significant challenge in reproductive endocrinology, severely compromising fertility and quality of life. Although acupuncture at conception vessel acupoints is an effective therapeutic approach for managing ovarian dysfunction, the biological underpinnings bridging peripheral stimulation to systemic endocrine regulation remain elusive. Emerging evidence has highlighted interstitial fluid (ISF) dynamics as a potential mediator of mechanotransduction.

Among potential products, ethanol stands out as a renewable energy carrier due to its compatibility with existing fuel infrastructure and ability to reduce CO emissions when integrated into energy systems. Despite the success in converting CO into C-Chemicals with high yields, the selective conversion of C products, including ethanol, remains a challenge due to the synthetic complexity.

Background: Post-weaning diarrhea in piglets is a common challenge that adversely impacts growth performance and increases mortality, leading to severe economic losses. Medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) and short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) are frequently used as feed additives due to their bioactive properties. This study evaluated the effects of two different blends of MCFA and SCFA (VSM and VS + VM) as alternatives to zinc oxide (ZnO) on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, oxidative stress, inflammatory, and gut microbiota composition in weaned piglets.

The activity and stability of SACs are governed by the pair of metal-adsorbate and metal-support interactions. However, the understanding of these interactions with their catalytic performance in nature is challenging.

The chitin synthase gene 1 (CHS1) is a key gene in insect chitin synthesis pathway, it plays a critical role in the insect's survival and development. However, the protective functions of CHS1 in response to pathogens and chemical insecticides remain poorly understood. In this study, we analyzed the functional domain and phylogenetic relationship of CHS1 in Nilaparvata lugens and other insects.
