The Akabane virus (AKAV) is a significant member of the Orthobunyavirus genus, with its envelope glycoprotein Gc, focusing on its molecular structural features, immunoregulatory mechanisms, and application value in pathogen diagnosis and vaccine design. As a key structural protein of AKAV, Gc mediates virus adsorption and neutralizing antibody recognition through the N-terminal highly variable region (HVR), while the C-terminal conserved region (CR) dominates the membrane fusion process, and its glycosylation modification has a significant regulatory effect on protein function. In clinical diagnostics, serological assays based on Gc proteins (e.

Perfluoroalkyl-functionalized heterocycles exhibit profoundly modified bioactivities, motivating the development of efficient methods for precise perfluoroalkyl group installation. A new metal-free photoinduced radical-initiated cascade reaction was developed for the rapid synthesis of perfluoroalkyl-substituted iminoisobenzofurans by reacting various perfluoroalkyl iodides (R-I) under mild reaction conditions. In this reaction system, the formation of electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes is pivotal for the visible-light promoted transformation in the absence of additional photocatalytic species.

Pyroptosis, a distinctive form of programmed cell death (PCD) characterized by its inflammatory nature, is triggered by the activation of pore-forming proteins known as gasdermins (GSDMs). This process is marked by progressive expansion of a pore within the cell, ultimately leading to cellular membrane disruption and the substantial release of intracellular contents. Pyroptosis plays a pivotal role in the eradication of intracellular pathogen replication niches and in the modulation of the immune system through the release of danger signals.

A series of novel 4-aniline quinazoline derivatives (Y1-Y26) were synthesised from 2-amino-6-nitrobenzoic acid based on the quinazoline parent nucleus via trifluoroacetylation, ring-closing and chlorination; The CCK-8 method was used to assess the in vitro inhibitory activities of the resulting compounds against two distinct cell lines: breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231) and non-small cell lung cancer (A549). The results demonstrated that most of the compounds exhibited in vitro proliferation inhibitory activity against both MDA-MB-231 and A549 cells. Among these, compound Y22 exhibited the strongest inhibitory effect on MDA-MB-231 cells (IC = 4.

Heterogeneous catalysts often undergo dynamic evolution during catalysis, forming true active sites. Amorphous materials, due to their inherent structural flexibility, are particularly prone to evolution and self-adaptation under catalytic conditions. Herein, we demonstrate that the short-range order of an Al-O polyhedron in amorphous aluminum oxide nanosheets undergoes a transformation from a mixed AlO, AlO, and AlO configuration to a randomly connected AlO structure during both hydrothermal treatment and direct methane oxidation, confirmed by time-series Al solid-state NMR spectroscopy.
