Background: Cardiovascular health (CVH) is closely associated with ageing. This study aimed to investigate the association between cardiometabolic index (CMI), a novel indicator of cardiometabolic status, and biological ageing.
Methods: Cross-sectional data were obtained from participants with comprehensive CMI and biological age data in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2011 to 2018.
For high-dimensional heterogeneous Kuramoto oscillator networks (HDHKONs) evolving in continuous time, achieving global synchronization can be exceedingly challenging, and in many cases, it may even appear impossible for various network configurations, including Platonic solids and Archimedean solids, or large-scale networks. Herein, a pinning impulsive control approach for HDHKONs is developed to attain global synchronization on the unit sphere without imposing constraints on initial phase distributions. With this approach, the entire network is globally stabilized onto an objective trajectory by impulsively controlling only a small fraction of oscillators.

However, its role in doxorubicin-induced chronic cardiomyopathy (DICCM) as well as the underlying mechanisms are still unknown.
Methods And Results: In this study, we used IL-12p40-knockout mice, IL-23p19-knockout mice, Rag1-knockout mice, a ferroptosis inhibitor, recombinant IL-12 (rIL-12), rIL-23, rIL-12p40, rIL-12p80, and anti-IL17A to investigate the effects of IL-12p40 on DICCM and elucidate the underlying mechanisms.
Two researchers independently assessed studies published up to February 5, 2023, across PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane Library, to investigate the associations of sleep traits with cardiometabolic risk factors, as well as with cardiovascular diseases. Fourteen systematic reviews consisting of 23 meta-analyses, and 11 Mendelian randomization (MR) studies were included in this study. Short sleep duration was associated with a higher risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes (T2D), hypertension, stroke, and coronary heart disease (CHD) in observational studies, while a causal role was only demonstrated in obesity, hypertension, and CHD by MR.
