The self-repair ability of cartilage defects is limited, and 3D printing technology provides hope for the repair and regeneration of cartilage defects. Although 3D printing technology and cartilage repair and regeneration have been studied for decades, there are still few articles specifically describing the relationship between 3D printing and cartilage defect repair and regeneration, and a bibliometric analysis has not been completed. To supplement, sort out and summarize the content in related fields, we analyzed the research status of 3D printing technology and cartilage repair and regeneration from 2002 to 2022.

In this paper, a new SiGe/Si heterojunction double-gate heterogate dielectric tunneling field-effect transistor with an auxiliary tunneling barrier layer (HJ-HD-P-DGTFET) is proposed and investigated using TCAD tools. SiGe material has a smaller band gap than Si, so a heterojunction with SiGe(source)/Si(channel) can result in a smaller tunneling distance, which is very helpful in boosting the tunneling rate. The gate dielectric near the drain region consists of low-k SiO to weaken the gate control of the channel-drain tunneling junction and reduce the ambipolar current (I).

In this work, amino modified halloysite nanotubes (A-HNTs), chitosan (CS) and phytic acid (PA) were introduced into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix to construct PA/A-HNT/CS/PVA organic-inorganic composite film with hydrogen bond and covalent bond cross-linking network structure. Adding PA/A-HNT/CS can remarkably improve the mechanical strength, UV resistance and thermal stability of PVA film.

Background/purpose: Visualization of peripheral retinal structures with optical coherence tomography (OCT) can be challenging but can offer valuable clinical information. We describe a method for intraoperative OCT of the peripheral retina.
Methods: An investigational microscope-integrated OCT system with real-time 4D volumetric imaging was used in conjunction with a Goldmann style mirrored contact lens intraoperatively to capture peripheral images in three patients.
Purpose: The diagnosis and management of adrenocorticotropic hormone-independent Cushing's syndrome (AICS) with bilateral adrenal lesions remain challenging. Some studies have explored the value of adrenal vein sampling (AVS) in patients with AICS; however, more investigations are needed to assess its benefits for diagnosis and treatment planning in this population.
Methods: Thirteen patients with clinical, biochemical and imaging evidence of AICS with bilateral adrenal lesions underwent AVS in our department from 2017-2022 were recruited.

Combination therapy using effective drug molecules and functional genes such as small interfering RNA (siRNA) has been suggested as a powerful strategy against multiple drug resistance. Here, we present a protocol for preparing a delivery system by developing dynamic covalent macrocycles using a dithiol monomer to co-deliver doxorubicin and siRNA. Thus, this study conducted acute toxicity test of zebrafish (Danio rerio) at embryonic and adult stage to estimate the toxicity of FCNs.
