Combination therapy using effective drug molecules and functional genes such as small interfering RNA (siRNA) has been suggested as a powerful strategy against multiple drug resistance. Here, we present a protocol for preparing a delivery system by developing dynamic covalent macrocycles using a dithiol monomer to co-deliver doxorubicin and siRNA. We describe steps for preparing the dithiol monomer, followed by co-delivery to form nanoparticles. We then detail procedures for cell uptake and assessing enhanced anti-cancer efficacy in vitro. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Lyu et al..

Background Of The Study: known for its bioactive phytochemicals and antimicrobial potential; however, studies evaluating its outcome on the color, mechanical properties and antimicrobial activity of 3D-printed provisional dental resins are lacking. So this study evaluate the effect of seed extract incorporation on the color assessment, flexural strength, compressive strength, microhardness and antimicrobial activity of 3D-printed provisional crown and bridge resin.
Materials And Methods: A total of 240 samples were prepared, with 60 samples allocated to four groups based on 0 %, 1.

In the context of the importance of manganese β-diketonates as precursors for the preparation of manganese oxide thin films and nanostructured materials, we report synthetic protocols and pitfalls encountered in the preparation of a family of Mn(ii) complexes of two fluorinated β-diketonates, 1,1,1-trifluoroacetylacetonato- (tfac) and 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetonato- (hfac). The synthetic conditions and crystal structures of six new complexes are reported, including a coordination polymer {K[Mn(tfac)]}, an unusual trinuclear complex Mn(tfac)(OH), and a series of mononuclear complexes with coordinated solvents tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, water, and acetonitrile. The crystal structures of two known Mn(ii) complexes are also reported for completeness.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a critical, life-saving intervention. In pregnant women, unique anatomical and physiological changes require adaptations to standard CPR protocols to ensure optimal outcomes for both mother and fetus, emphasizing the need for universal awareness and standardized training across diverse healthcare systems globally. Despite the high-risk nature of maternal cardiac arrest, evidence suggests that many healthcare professionals may not be adequately prepared to respond effectively.

A simple yet efficient method involving a visible-light-induced direct, regioselective chalcogenation of indoloquinoxaline derivatives has been developed. Thiols, disulfides and diselenides were found to be efficient as chalcogenating agents in the presence of Rose Bengal as a photosensitizer. This photoinduced C-H functionalization a cross-dehydrogenative-coupling (CDC) protocol was carried out at ambient temperature under an open-air atmosphere.

Understanding gastric physiology in rodents is critical for advancing preclinical neurogastroenterology research. However, existing techniques are often invasive, terminal, or limited in resolution. This study aims to develop a non-invasive, standardized MRI protocol capable of capturing whole-stomach dynamics in anesthetized rats with high spatiotemporal resolution.
