Objective: To develop and evaluate a Dual-modality Complementary Feature Attention Network (DCFAN) that integrates spatial and stiffness information from B-mode ultrasound and shear wave elastography (SWE) for improved breast tumor classification and axillary lymph node (ALN) metastasis prediction.
Methods: A total of 387 paired B-mode and SWE images from 218 patients were retrospectively analyzed. The proposed DCFAN incorporates attention mechanisms to effectively fuse structural features from B-mode ultrasound with stiffness features from SWE.

Unsupervised visible-infrared person re-identifi-cation (Unsupervised VI-ReID) aims to learn discriminative identity features under the large modality gap without any labeled data. Currently, the state-of-the-art methods optimize cross-modality differences by using contrastive learning as the underlying paradigm. However, they neglect the problem of modality divergence during the cross-modality optimization process.

Background And Objective: Predicting overall survival (OS) for advanced gastric cancer patients after radiotherapy is critical for developing an individualized treatment plan. However, existing studies have focused on gastric cancer CT images with a large amount of redundant information, neglecting the role of physicians' prior knowledge in guiding gastric cancer CT image information. We propose a multimodal fusion method based on prior knowledge to predict OS after radiotherapy in advanced gastric cancer patients to assist physicians in clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Aim: To describe an innovative surgical technique for pathologic myopia and macular holes accompanied by retinal detachment using allogeneic corneal stromal lenticule transplantation combined with pars plana vitrectomy.
Methods: The allogeneic corneal stromal lenticule was harvested through small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and stored at -30°C in advance. After pars plana vitrectomy, an allogeneic corneal stromal lenticule was thawed, trimmed into approximately 60 µm thick and 100 µm larger than the macular hole and transferred to cover the macular hole through the trocar.

The rapid and accurate detection of histamine is of great significance for the early diagnosis and precise treatment of allergic diseases. Traditional histamine detection usually is more invasive and limited for the detection of allergic reactions in local areas. In this work, microneedles (MNs) enable of in-situ transdermal detection are employed as the extended gate of the thin-film transistor (TFT).

In the mHz frequency range, a diverse range of compact objects, from the most massive black holes at the farthest reaches of the Universe to the lightest white dwarfs in our cosmic backyard, generate a complex and dynamic symphony of gravitational wave signals. Once recorded by gravitational wave detectors, these unique fingerprints have the potential to decipher the birth and growth of cosmic structures over a wide range of scales, from stellar binaries and stellar clusters to galaxies and large-scale structures.

Here we propose an effective strategy to enhance the CPs in HP RRAMs by doping Ag to partially substitute Pb in MAPbI, which facilitates the nonlocalized growth of Ag CPs and thereby improves the stability of CPs. The optimal doped device demonstrates excellent RRAM performances including high ON/OFF ratios (>10), long retention (>10 s), large endurance (>10 cycles), uniform parameters, and excellent yield.

Image imaging in the real world is based on physical imaging mechanisms. Existing super-resolution methods mainly focus on designing complex network structures to extract and fuse image features more effectively, but ignore the guiding role of physical imaging mechanisms for model design, and cannot mine features from a physical perspective. Inspired by the mechanism of physical imaging, we propose a novel network architecture called Virtual-Sensor Construction network (VSCNet) to simulate the sensor array inside the camera.

High dielectric constant () polymers have been widely explored for flexible, low-power-consumption electronic devices. In this work, solution-processable high- polymers were designed and synthesized by ultraviolet (UV) triggered crosslinking at a low temperature (60 °C). The highly crosslinked network allows for high resistance to organic solvents and high breakdown strength over 2 MV cm.

In this work, an MOF-coated gold (Au) nanohybrid was synthesized for uranyl detection by surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) technology. The MOF shell not only prevents the Au nanoparticles from rapid aggregation, but also effectively enhances the Raman signal of uranyl.

Herein, an intelligent hydrogel-coated wood (PPT/PPy@DW) membrane with self-healing, self-cleaning, and oil pollution detection performances is fabricated for the controllable separation of oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions and water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions. The PPT/PPy@DW is prepared by loading polypyrrole (PPy) particles on the delignified wood (DW) membranes, further modifying the hydrogel layer as an oil-repellent barrier.

Background: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) reactivity in individual immunologic and nucleic acid tests (NAT) tests does not represent the true infectious status of the blood donor. This study discusses the use of confirmatory tests to determine when deferral of blood donors is appropriate.
Methods: HBsAg or HBV NAT reactive samples were confirmed via a neutralisation test.

Using membrane materials to purify viscous watery oil from industrial production processes and accidental oil spills is of great importance but still challenging. Based on the excellent electrical conductivity and electric-thermal conversion of poly(pyrrole) (PPy), a hydrophobic PPy-modified micro-fibrillated cellulose membrane (P-CP) was successfully prepared. The size of the P-CP membrane can be customized to meet specific requirements.

Spinel LiTiO (LTO) is a promising candidate for lithium-ion battery anodes because of its exceptional stability and safety. However, its extensive application is limited by a high comprehensive cost, poor electronic conductivity, and other inherent defects. This work presents a novel synthesis procedure to synthesize carbon-coated Fe-doped LTO composites through carbon reduction, in the presence of Fe-containing industrial HTiO as the titanium source, and glucose as the carbon source.

Background And Objective: The diagnosis of BI-RADS category 4 breast lesion is difficult because its probability of malignancy ranges from 2% to 95%. For BI-RADS category 4 breast lesions, MRI is one of the prominent noninvasive imaging techniques. In this paper, we research computer algorithms to segment lesions and classify the benign or malignant lesions in MRI images.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to improve the accuracy of classifying luminal or non-luminal subtypes of breast cancer by using computer algorithms based on DCE-MRI, and to validate the diagnostic efficacy of the model by considering the patient's age of menarche and nodule size.
Methods: DCE-MRI images of patients with non-specific invasive breast cancer admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University were collected. There were 160 cases in total, with 84 cases of luminal type (luminal A and luminal B and 76 cases of non-luminal type (HER 2 overexpressing and triple negative).
Trimethylamine N-oxide(TMAO), a metabolite of gut microbiota, is closely associated with chronic kidney disease(CKD). It can aggravate the kidney injury and promote the occurrence of complications of CKD mainly by inducing renal fibroblast activation, vascular endothelial inflammation, macrophage foaming, platelet hyperreactivity, and inhibition of reverse cholesterol transport. Thus it is of great significance for clinical treatment of CKD to regulate circulating TMAO and alleviate its induced body damage.
