Introduction: Drugs entitled polymeric network special functions in bio-applications. However, the introduction of appropriate solvent for drugs generally incurred tedious inclusion methods, intensive chemical design and aging caused by solvent loss. Herein, a novel non-solvent gel system was proposed for water-insoluble drug loading and subsequent controlled transdermal drug release.

Lung cancer (LC), a leading malignancy of the respiratory system, is predominantly classified into small cell LC and non‑small cell LC. The increasing incidence and mortality rates of LC have spurred considerable interest in the chemo‑preventive potential of UA.

Background: Quercetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid abundant in various fruits and vegetables, known for its broad pharmacological properties, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and anti-fibrotic effects. Emerging evidence suggests that quercetin exerts protective roles in a range of ovarian-related reproductive disorders.
Purpose: This review aims to comprehensively summarize and critically assess current evidence on the therapeutic potential and molecular mechanisms of quercetin in the treatment of ovarian-related reproductive conditions.
Our understanding of the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) has significantly evolved over the past few decades. This prefrontal region has been associated with a wide range of cognitive functions, including a popular view that it primarily signals the expected value of each possible option, allowing downstream areas to use these value signals for decision-making. However, the discovery of rich, task-related information within the OFC and its essential role in inference-based behaviors has shifted our perspective and led to the proposal that the OFC holds a cognitive map used by both humans and animals for making predictions and inferences.

Long non‑coding RNA (lncRNA) is a class of non‑coding RNA molecules located in the cytoplasm or nucleus, which can regulate chromosome structure and function by interacting with DNA, RNA, proteins and other molecules; binding to mRNA bases in a complementary manner, affecting the splicing, stabilization, translation and degradation of mRNA; acting as competing endogenous RNA competitively binds to microRNAs to regulate gene expression and participate in the regulation of various vital activities of the body. The PI3K/AKT signalling pathway plays a key role in numerous biological and cellular processes, such as cell proliferation, invasion, migration and angiogenesis. It has been found that the lncRNA/PI3K/AKT axis regulates the expression of cancer‑related genes and thus tumour progression.

Because there are no obvious symptoms in the early stage of ovarian cancer, most patients are in the advanced stage of the disease at the time of diagnosis. The incidence of ovarian cancer is increasing year by year, and the incidence of ovarian cancer has a trend of younger age.

Methods: The human OS cell line Saos-2 was treated with allicin at 25, 50, and 100 μmol/L, respectively, to observe changes in cell biological behaviors. Subsequently, CBR3-AS1 abnormal expression vectors were constructed and transfected into Saos-2 to discuss their influence on OS.

Recent evidence has shed light on the significant role of FANCD2 in cancer initiation, development, and progression. However, a comprehensive pan-cancer analysis of FANCD2 has been lacking. In this study, we have conducted a thorough investigation into the expression profiles and prognostic significance of FANCD2, as well as its correlation with clinicopathological parameters and immune cell infiltration, using advanced bioinformatic techniques.

Depending on behavioral needs, contextual states usually persist for prolonged periods and across other events, including sensory stimuli, actions, and rewards, highlighting prominent challenges of holding a reliable state representation. The orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) is crucial in behaviors requiring the identification of the current context (e.

However, the development of herbal hydrogels is significantly hindered due to their poor hydrogel performances and the lack of universal preparation methods. In this study, four herbal hydrogels composed of phytochemical polyphenols and stevioside compounds are prepared through a facile heating-cooling process, where multiple hydrogen bonding interactions between two monomers provide the main driving force for gelation.

Background: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been extensively used for neoplasm treatment and has provided many promising therapeutic candidates. We previously found that Centipeda minima (C. minima), a Chinese medicinal herb, showed anti-cancer effects in lung cancer.

TNBC has a greater progression potential with poorer prognosis, compared with other types of breast cancer. Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1), also known as endocan, is overexpressed in various cancers including breast cancer and may play an important role in cancer progression.

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is still spreading around the world. Moxibustion, as a significant therapy in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), has been widely used to treat COVID-19, especially in recovery period. The study will aim to assess the efficacy and safety of moxibustion for COVID-19 convalescence.

Inspired by the textile dyeing, coloration and skin care effect of pyrogallol-rich red wine, tannic acid-KH561 (TA561) copolymer was fabricated by phenol-silanol reaction and polycondensation of silane in an aqueous medium under mild conditions. This copolymer could undergo sol-gel transition continuous heating or when simply placed at room temperature, during which liquid TA561 oligomers connected with each other to form solid TA561 as a bulk resin or thin film.

Background: COVID-9 has become a global pandemic with severe health issues around the world. However, there is still no effective drug to treat the disease, and many studies have shown that moxibustion plays a positive role in adjuvant treatment of COVID-19. Therefore, this meta-analysis is designed to evaluate the efficacy of moxibustion for COVID-19.
