Background: The relationship between life satisfaction and mental health problems had been confirmed in many existed studies, but the underlying mediating and moderating effect of sleep disturbance and per capita bedroom area (PCBA) behind this association had never been identified. This study aimed to explore the mediating role of sleep disturbance and the moderating effect of PCBA on the association between life satisfaction and mental health problems.

Methods: Multistage cluster random sampling method was used to select the participants and finally 613 migrant older adults with children (MOAC) were included in the survey.

Background: Increased aging and accelerated urbanization have led to the migration of older adults within China. Migrant older adults (MOAs) may experience physical and psychological discomfort in influx cities, and they are a vulnerable group that has emerged in the course of fast urbanization. Previous studies have confirmed the association between oral health and loneliness as well as the relationship between social support and loneliness; however, no research has been done to clarify the underlying mechanisms and the migrant-local difference between oral health, social support, and loneliness.

Selecting low-nitrogen(N)-tolerant maize hybrids represent an effective approach to enhancing nitrogen use efficiency grain yield. However, the impact of nitrogen fertilization on protein accumulation in low-N-tolerant hybrids remain insufficiently explored. In this paper, a two-year field orientation trial was conducted at four nitrogen fertilizer rate with the different low-N-tolerant maize hybrids.

Background: The number of female lung adenocarcinoma patients is increasing annually, but these patients are difficult to diagnose in the early stage without obvious clinical symptoms, leading to late-stage diagnoses and poor outcomes. Recent studies have shown that the lung microbiota is closely related to the occurrence and development of lung cancer, especially the characteristic changes in the lung microbiota of lung cancer patients, which opens a new research direction for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of the lung flora in different stages of female lung adenocarcinoma.

Background: Little empirical evidences were provided on the disparity in the level of loneliness between the migrant older with children (MOC) and their local counterpart in China. This study aimed to explore the association between social participation and loneliness and verify whether there was a local-migrant difference in this association.

Methods: A total of 1332 older people (60 +) were included in this study with 656 MOC and 676 natives.

Introduction: 2-Amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazole [4,5-b] pyridine (PhIP), a heterocyclic amine (HAA), is found in meat products heated at high temperatures. However, PhIP is a mutagenic and potential carcinogenic compound. Cassiae semen, a type of medicine and food homology plant, is abundant in China and has been less applied for inhibiting heterocyclic amines.

Purpose: To compare the genomic testing based on specimens obtained from percutaneous core-needle biopsy (CNB) before and immediately after coaxial microwave ablation (MWA) in solid non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and to investigate the diagnostic performance of CNB immediately after coaxial MWA in solid NSCLC.

Methods: Coaxial MWA and CNB were performed for NSCLC patients, with a power of 30 or 40 watts (W) in MWA between the pre- and post-ablation CNB, followed by continuous ablation after the second CNB on demand. The paired specimens derived from the same patient were compared for pathological diagnosis and genomic testing.
