This study aimed to investigate the interrelationship between depression and prognosis in patients with EC, with a focus on immune-inflammatory biomarkers.

Methods: This single-center retrospective trial was conducted at the National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 114 patients diagnosed with adenomyosis who underwent ultrasound-guided HIFU ablation under conscious sedation between July 2021 and July 2023. Patients were randomly allocated into a training set and a test set at a ratio of 7:3.

This work provides a comprehensive review of methodologies for evaluating skeletal muscle biomechanics, including handheld dynamometry, advanced imaging techniques, electrical impedance myography, elastography, and single-fiber experiments to assess muscle quality and performance. Furthermore, it elucidates the mechanisms, applications, and limitations of various immunotherapy modalities, including immune checkpoint inhibitors, adoptive cell therapy, cancer vaccines, and combined chemoimmunotherapy, while examining their effects on skeletal muscle function and systemic immune responses.

Integrating AI into clinical education: evaluating general practice trainees' proficiency in distinguishing AI-generated hallucinations and impacting factors.

Objective: To assess the ability of General Practice (GP) Trainees to detect AI-generated hallucinations in simulated clinical practice, ChatGPT-4o was utilized. The hallucinations were categorized into three types based on the accuracy of the answers and explanations: (1) correct answers with incorrect or flawed explanations, (2) incorrect answers with explanations that contradict factual evidence, and (3) incorrect answers with correct explanations.

Methods: This multi-center, cross-sectional survey study involved 142 GP Trainees, all of whom were undergoing General Practice Specialist Training and volunteered to participate.

Aim: This study aims to elucidate the impact of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) on major depressive disorder (MDD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) globally, regionally, and nationally, informing targeted public health interventions and policy.

Methods: Using data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Study 2019, we assessed the impact of CSA on MDD and AUD, analyzing disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) per 100,000 population. Our analysis included age, sex, geographic locations, temporal trends in age-standardized rates (ASR), and examined the relationship between the social development index (SDI) and the burden of these disorders.

Background: Rapid cycling bipolar disorder (RCBD), characterized by four or more episodes per year, is a complex subtype of bipolar disorder (BD) with poorly understood characteristics.

Method: This multicenter, observational, longitudinal cohort study enrolled 520 BD patients across seven psychiatric institutions in China from January 2013 to January 2014. Objective To identify the relationship between nephritis activity, autophagy and inflammation in patients with SLE. Methods Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) and P62 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of SLE patients with lupus nephritis and non-lupus nephritis patients. Tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) and interferon γ (IFN-γ) in the serum of SLE patients were determined by ELISA.

Hormonal and inflammatory signatures of different mood episodes in bipolar disorder: a large-scale clinical study.

Background: Bipolar disorder (BD) is characterized by intensive mood fluctuations. While hormones imbalance plays important role in the mood swings, it is unknown whether peripheral hormones profiles could differentiate the manic and depressive mood episodes in BD. In this study, we investigated the changes of various hormones and inflammatory markers across distinct mood episodes of BD in a large clinical study to provide mood episode-specific peripheral biomarkers for BD.

Objective: This study evaluated the treatment outcomes of agomelatine on anhedonic state, anxiety/somatic symptoms, and sexual function in Chinese patients with major depressive disorder (MDD).

Method: In total, 93 adult patients with MDD were enrolled, and 68 of them were included in a prospective, open-label, multicenter clinical study. All patients received agomelatine monotherapy during a 9-week treatment phase.
