We isolated a strain of the genus from Daihai Lake in Inner Mongolia. The complete genome size is 2,614,554 bp, with a genomic DNA G + C content of 39.3%. Metabolic pathway analysis indicates that strain f15 is a potential lactic acid-fermenting bacterium with industrial applications in lactate fermentation.

Background: Cancer of unknown primary (CUP) is a challenging malignancy characterized by metastatic tumors with an unidentified primary site, even after extensive pathological and radiographic evaluation. Recent advancements in gene expression profiling and comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) using next-generation sequencing (NGS) have enabled the identification of potential tissue origins, thereby facilitating personalized treatment strategies. Although most cases of CUP present as adenocarcinomas or poorly differentiated tumors, the treatment remains largely empirical, with limited success from molecularly tailored therapies.

Sauvagesia rhodoleuca is an endangered species endemic to southern China. Due to human activities, only six fragmented populations remain in Guangdong and Guangxi. Despite considerable conservation efforts, its demographic history and evolution remain poorly understood, particularly from a genomic perspective.

HIV-associated lymphoma (HAL) is an aggressive malignancy directly linked to HIV infection and accounts for more than 30% of cancer-related deaths in people living with HIV (PLWH). HAL subtypes, including diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), Burkitt lymphoma (BL), primary effusion lymphoma (PEL), and plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL), exhibit five to ten times higher incidence rates and distinct molecular profiles compared to HIV-negative lympho-mas. Pathogenesis involves HIV-driven CD4+ T-cell depletion, chronic B-cell activation, and on-cogenic viral coinfection.

The 20S proteasome is a core component of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, participating in various biological processes such as cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, apoptosis, and protein homeostasis. However, its roles in mammals are well-documented, its function in the insect intestine remains largely unexplored. In this study, we identified 14 20S proteasome subunits, including 7 α-subunits and 7 β-subunits in Locusta migratoria, a worldwide agricultural pest.

Objective: This study aimed to identify potential mutations associated with major depressive disorder (MDD) and evaluate disease-associated risk factors.
Methods: Total genomic DNAwas extracted from the participants' blood samples, and the complete mitochondrial genome wasamplified by PCR, purified, and sequenced. Mutation burden analysis and functional mutation analysis was performed, including total mutation counts, highly conserved mutations (Conservation Index >75 %), and structurally disruptive mutations.
