Background: Enterovirus G (EV-G) is widely prevalent in pigs worldwide, and co-infections of EV-G and other diarrhea-causing pathogens have been reported in many countries, threatening the pig farming industry. There are some methods available for EV-G detection; however, the RT-LAMP method for detecting EV-G has not yet been developed. The aim of thisstudy was to establish a highly sensitive and visual RT-LAMP assay for the detection of EV-G.

Background: Prolonged occupational noise exposure poses potential health risks, but its impact on mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) damage and methylation patterns remains unclear.

Method: We recruited 306 factory workers, using average binaural high-frequency hearing thresholds from pure-tone audiometry to assess noise exposure. MtDNA damage was evaluated through mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn) and lesion rate, and mtDNA methylation changes were identified via pyrophosphate sequencing.

Background: The prognostic role of preoperative inflammation-nutrition-related markers in locally advanced lip squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) remains underexplored. First Identification and Pathogenicity Evaluation of an EV-G17 Strain Carrying a Torovirus Papain-like Cysteine Protease (PLCP) Gene in China.

Enterovirus G (EV-G) is prevalent in pig populations worldwide, and a total of 20 genotypes (G1 to G20) have been confirmed. Recently, recombinant EV-Gs carrying the papain-like cysteine protease (PLCP) gene of porcine torovirus have been isolated or detected, while their pathogenicity is poorly understood. In this study, an EV-G17-PLCP strain, 'EV-G/YN23/2022', was isolated from the feces of pigs with diarrhea, and the virus replicated robustly in numerous cell lines.

A rapid, sensitive and specific method for the detection of EHDV and PALV is critical for virus detection, monitoring, and successful control and elimination of related diseases.

Results: In the present study, a recombinase polymerase amplification combined with lateral flow dipstick (RPA-LFD) assay for the co-detection of genome segment 1 (Seg-1) of EHDV and PALV was developed and evaluated.

In order to achieve a high-quality joint between SiO/SiO and metals, it is necessary to address the poor wettability of SiO/SiO and the high residual stress in SiO/SiO-Nb joint. Here, we simultaneously realize good wettability and low residual stress in SiO/SiO-Nb joint by combined method of HF etching treatment and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). After etching treatment, the wettability of E-SiO/SiO was improved, and the residual stress in the joint was decreased.
