Background: The number of tumor deposits (TDs) does not play a part in the current tumor node metastasis staging. Negative lymph node (NLN) status is associated with the prognosis of colorectal cancer (CRC), but its clear role in N1c stage remains to be defined.
Aim: To evaluate the combination of TDs and NLNs as potential prognostic indicators in N1c CRC.
Background: Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a major health burden for adults and the elderly globally; however, national radiological and epidemiological data and predictive models for KOA are lacking in China. Most of the existing studies are limited to regional samples, which cannot accurately reflect disease burden and risk factors.
Objectives: This study aimed to systematically analyze the prevalence and risk factors of adult radiology KOA in China for the first time using a national representative sample and to develop a prediction model to provide a basis for public health strategies.
Background: This study aimed to investigate the utility of shear wave elastography (SWE) as a noninvasive diagnostic tool for assessing anterior compartment intracompartmental pressure (ICP) in patients with tibial plateau fractures, facilitating early detection of high compartment pressure (HCP) to mitigate acute compartment syndrome (ACS) risks.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study conducted from January 2024 to March 2025 at a tertiary hospital in China, 170 patients aged 18-65 years with tibial plateau fractures diagnosed within 48Â h were enrolled. Demographic data, injury mechanisms, Schatzker classification, and laboratory parameters were collected.
This study investigated aroma changes in Hui Li red Sichuan pepper across five different harvesting times within their typical optimum period based on 24 traditional solar terms, employing sensory evaluation, electronic nose (E-nose), gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry (GC-IMS) combined with relative odour activity value (ROAV) and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA). Sensory analysis indicated that peppers were characterised by green, citrus, minty, sweet, woody, and peppery numbing aroma attributes. E-nose revealed the greatest aroma difference in peppers occurred between the early and late optimum harvest stages.

Depression and breast cancer (BC) demonstrate significant clinical comorbidity, yet their shared molecular mechanisms remain unclear, particularly regarding immune pathway regulation. This study systematically analyzed Depression-associated gene expression profiles (Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database) and BC transcriptomic data (The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database), identifying overlapping differentially expressed genes (DEGs). Functional enrichment (Gene Ontology (GO)/Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG)) and protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analyses (STRING/Cytoscape) were employed to elucidate biological processes, followed by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve validation to prioritize key genes.
