Background And Purpose: To further elucidate the potential biological mechanisms underlying the uptake of PSMA-targeted radioligands in glioblastoma (GBM) and to clarify the value of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET in characterizing the spatial heterogeneity of GBM microvascular distribution, this study aims to investigate the relationship between Ga-PSMA-11 PET and arterial spin-labeling (ASL) perfusion imaging, as well as the correlation between PSMA tracer uptake and immunohistochemical microvascular indices.

Materials And Methods: Twenty-six patients with newly diagnosed or recurrent GBM who underwent conventional MRI, ASL and PSMA PET were prospectively enrolled. We investigated the correlation between the semi-quantitative parameters of ASL and PSMA PET.

As the largest river in China, exploring the evolution characteristics of rainfall in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and analyzing the frequency of wet and dry encounters play a significant role in flood and drought prevention in the Yangtze River Basin. This study employs the Mann-Kendall test, 5-year moving curve, Pettitt test method, and Morlet wavelet analysis method to analyze and diagnose the trend, abrupt changes, and periodicity of rainfall in the Yangtze River Basin. By fitting the optimal rainfall marginal distribution and Copula joint distribution model, the probability of wet and dry period encounters and their changing patterns in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are calculated and analyzed.

Alum, a widely used adjuvant, has recently been recognized for its capacity to modulate immune responses beyond classical activation. In this study, we investigated whether alum-induced expansion of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and their interaction with regulatory T cells (Tregs) promote immune tolerance in corneal transplantation. C57BL/6 mice received repeated intraperitoneal alum injections to induce MDSCs, which were subsequently characterized and tested in suppression assays.

Under the influence of human activities and climate change, the development of the Yellow River basin (YRB) is constrained by the utilization of hydropower resources, carbon emission and ecological deterioration. In this paper, combined weighting method, comprehensive assessment index, coupled coordination degree and obstacle degree model were used to construct a theoretical framework of the water-energy-carbon-ecological environment (WECEc) system in the nine provinces of the YRB from 2013 to 2022, analyze the comprehensive development level of the system and the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of the coupled coordination level of the system, and analyze obstacle factors. The results show that (1) During the study period, the comprehensive development level of WECEc system in the YRB generally increased in a fluctuation pattern.

As global water scarcity becomes more acute, cross-basin water diversion projects, such as the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in China, need scientific risk assessment methods to ensure sustainable water allocation. This study proposes a coupling analysis framework based on Copula-Bayesian, which fills the gap in the systematic risk research of large-scale water transfer projects. By constructing a joint annual runoff distribution model for the Yangtze River and Yellow River, combined with mutation point detection, periodicity analysis (Morlet wavelet) and frequency statistics of boom-bust encounter, the characteristics of hydrological variability under climate change were systematically evaluated.

Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most common malignant tumor in men worldwide, and its metastatic and heterogeneous nature makes it significantly more difficult to treat. Recent studies have revealed the critical role of microbiota in PCa occurrence, progression, and treatment. Accumulating evidence from 16S rRNA and metagenomic sequencing suggests the presence of specific microbiota in prostate tissues and macrogenomics techniques: cancerous tissues are enriched with pro-inflammatory genera (e.

Background: To assess the incidence, cause and risk factors for unplanned readmission within 90 days after deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK).

Methods: A multicentre cross-sectional study of 3603 eyes of 3588 patients after keratoplasty between January 1st, 2019, and September 30th, 2021 in 16 hospitals across China was performed. The demographic and clinical features between patients after DALK with 90-day unplanned readmission and those who did not have been compared.

The People's Victory Canal irrigation area is an important agricultural irrigation region in the North China Plain, where groundwater resources play a crucial role in both agricultural production and the ecological environment. However, in recent years, the increasing depth of the groundwater, influenced by climate change and human activities, has posed significant challenges to the sustainable use of water resources in the region. Therefore, exploring the lag effect and its trends between precipitation and groundwater depth is essential for the scientific management of groundwater resources and optimizing water allocation.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the gradual loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and the accumulation of α-synuclein aggregates known as Lewy bodies. MicroRNA-7 (miR-7) targets the gene , which encodes α-synuclein, reducing its expression and alleviating neuronal damage in PD. Regulating the post-transcriptional levels of α-synuclein through miR-7 effectively inhibits its production.

  • Emergency aortic dissection has a high mortality rate and can lead to complications like acute kidney injury (AKI).
  • This study analyzed risk factors for postoperative renal injuries and tested the effectiveness of cluster nursing measures during surgery.
  • Findings showed that specific risks like high preoperative creatinine and prolonged surgery times were linked to higher AKI rates, while cluster nursing significantly reduced AKI incidence compared to routine care.

The rapid rise in propofol dependency and abuse has highlighted limited resources for addressing substance abuse-related cognitive impairment, prompting the development of novel therapies. Dysregulated autophagy flow accelerates neuronal cell death, and interventions countering this dysregulation offer an appealing strategy for neuronal protection. Curcumin, a potent natural polyphenol derived from turmeric rhizomes, is renowned for its robust antineurotoxic properties and enhanced cognitive function.

Northwest China (WTL) is an essential ecological barrier zone of China, an important node of the "Silk Road Economic Belt," and a crucial bearing area for China's execution of the "One Road and One Belt" and "Going Global" strategies. However, its ecology is exceedingly fragile and particularly vulnerable to climate change and human interference. This study explored the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of vegetation in WTL using NDVI data and investigated its drive mechanisms by geodetector, partial correlation analysis, and residual trend analysis methods.
