Purpose: Prostate cancer (PCa) is a serious malignancy worldwide with the fifth highest mortality rate among tumors in males, and there are unmet clinical needs for PCa treatment. In this work, we aim to explore the expression and overlap between B7 Homolog 3 protein (B7-H3) and cell-surface receptor c-mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor (c-MET), to provide insight on B7-H3 and c-MET bi-specific ADC drugs development for advanced PCa.

Patients And Methods: In this retrospective cross-sectional study, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples were analyzed from 135 male patients with advanced PCa at Hubei Cancer Hospital between 2019 and 2023.

Lymph node status is a key factor in determining stage, treatment, and prognosis in cancers. Small lymph nodes in fat-rich gastrointestinal and breast cancer specimens are easily missed in conventional sampling methods. This study examined the effectiveness of the degreasing pretreatment with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) in lymph node detection and its impact on the analysis of clinical treatment-related proteins and molecules.

ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complexes regulate chromatin structure and play important roles in gene expression, differentiation, development and cancer progression. Dysregulation in the subunits of the complexes often has been found in different cancers, but how they influence cancer initiation and progression is not fully understood. Here, we show that Chromatin Accessibility Complex Subunit 1 (CHRAC1), the accessory subunit of chromatin remodeling complex, is highly expressed in lung cancer tissues, which correlates with poor prognosis in lung cancer patients.
