Objective: To evaluate the immunogenicity, safety and lot-to-lot consistency of an inactivated enterovirus 71 (EV71) vaccine cultured in bioreactors with different specifications after full immunization.

Methods: A randomized, double-blind trial was performed in 3,000 children aged 6 ~ 35 months with six vaccine batches, which were prepared in 40 L and 150 L bioreactors for three consecutive batches respectively. The effects of land use on riverine NO emissions are not well understood, especially in suburban zones between urban and rural with distinct anthropogenic perturbations. Here, we investigated in situ riverine NO emissions among suburban, urban, and rural sections of a typical agricultural-urban gradient river, the Qinhuai River of Southeastern China from June 2010 to September 2012. Due to the precursor gas flow in the focused ion beam induced deposition process, a shadow effect appears behind the shading structures. This article carries out experiments with phenanthrene as the precursor gas and establishes a numerical model to define the shadow area and estimate the intensity of the shadow effect, considering the morphology of shading structure, the beam shift, and the nozzle parameters. Background: To investigate the in vitro induction of salivary gland-like tissue by ips cells in an interferon regulatory factor 6 (IRF6) overexpression and parotid conditioned medium environment.

Methods: Urine-derived ips cells were isolated, identified, transfected with IRF6 and cultured in parotid conditioned medium to induce ips cells into salivary gland differentiation, morphological changes of ips cells were observed, CCK-8 was used to determine the cell proliferation efficiency and transcriptome sequencing was used to detect the expression of genes related to parotid gland formation.

Results: Immunofluorescence staining showed that the isolated ips cells were positive for NANOG, SSEA4 and OCT4 and had embryonic-like stem cell characteristics; CCK-8 showed that there was no statistical difference in the proliferation efficiency between the IRF6 induced group and the simple induced group after induction of ips cells into salivary glands.
