This study investigated the impact of antibiotics on the therapeutic efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors and their association with the intestinal microbiota. Using a Hepa1-6 hepatocellular carcinoma mouse model, various antibiotics (vancomycin, colistin, and combination antibiotics) were administered alongside a PD-1 inhibitor. The results indicated that antibiotic treatment significantly altered the intestinal microbiota composition, with vancomycin and the combination antibiotics notably reducing PD-1 inhibitor efficacy.

In this experiment, we employed Real-time PCR(RT-PCR) and metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing (mNGS) techniques to detect the presence of Norovirus, Rotavirus Group A, Adenovirus Group F, and Astrovirus in untreated sewage from three major hospitals. A comparison with clinical lab test outcomes revealed Norovirus as having the highest infection rate, followed by Adenovirus Group F and Rotavirus Group A. Despite not testing for Astrovirus in clinical labs, its sewage detection rate was surpassed only by Norovirus, suggesting a potentially high clinical infection rate.

Objective To explore the inhibitory effect of cordycepin on the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells and its molecular mechanism. Methods MGC-803 cells were treated with 0, 25, 50, 100 μmol/L of cordycepin and HGC-27 cells with 0, 5, 25, 50 μmol/L of cordycepin for 48 hours. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers worldwide and stands among the leading causes of cancer-related deaths. To reveal the kinetic performance of gas molecules in hydrate growth, hydrate formation from pure CO, flue gas, and biogas was measured using in-situ Raman and macroscopic methods at 271.6 K. In the in-situ Raman measurements, Raman peaks of gases in the hydrate phase were characterised and normalised by taking the water bands from 2800 to 3800 cm as a reference, whose line shapes were not found to have a noticeable change in the conversion from Ih ice to sI hydrate.

In this work, the decomposition behaviour of methane hydrate in porous media was investigated microscopically using powder X-ray diffraction, cryogenic scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The effect of grain sizes on the decomposition of methane hydrate was measured. The results showed that bulk hydrates could exist stably at 223 K and atmospheric pressure because of the self-preservation effect.
