Based on the coverage of the shrub (0-100%) in the Sanjiang Plain, we examined the responses of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) content, as well as nutrient resorption efficiency in the mature and senescent leaves of three dominant marsh plants (, , and ) to four degrees of shrub encroachment: no shrub encroachment, light shrub encroachment (0-30%), moderate shrub encroachment (30%-70%), and heavy shrub encroachment (>70%). The results showed that shrub encroachment did not significantly affect N, P, and K contents in the mature leaves of the marsh plants. It significantly reduced K content in the senescent leaves of and by 40.

In this study, we explored the changes in plant community diversity and their relationship with soil factors under shrub encroachment pressure by selecting four marsh areas in Sanjiang Plain with different degrees of shrub cover (, 0≤≤100%), including marsh with no shrub encroachment (=0), light shrub encroachment (0<≤30%), medium shrub encroachment (30%<≤70%), and heavy shrub encroachment (70%<≤100%). The results showed that shrub encroachment was the main reason for the heterogeneity of plant community composition in marsh. With shrub encroachment, the dominant species was replaced by , whereas disappeared.

To understand the variations in greenhouse gas fluxes during the process of returning cropland to wetland in the Sanjiang Plain, we selected naturally restored wetlands of 4, 7, 11, 16 and 20 years as research objects to compare with a cultivated site (soybean plantation for 13 years) and an uncultivated marsh dominated by and . We measured carbon dioxide (CO) and methane (CH) fluxes using a static chamber-gas chromatography and explored the main influencing factors. The results showed that there were seasonal variations in growing-season CO and CH fluxes of the restored wetlands, with the seasonal trends in greenhouse gases becoming gradually similar to that of natural marsh with increasing restoration time.

The c-MYC (MYC) oncoprotein is often overexpressed in human breast cancer; however, its role in driving disease phenotypes is poorly understood. Here, we investigate the role of MYC in HER2+ disease, examining the relationship between HER2 expression and MYC phosphorylation in HER2+ patient tumors and characterizing the functional effects of deregulating MYC expression in the murine NeuNT model of amplified-HER2 breast cancer.
