Background: The underexplored potential of PD-L1 blockade in advanced renal cell carcinoma highlights an urgent need for novel agents. This trial aimed to compare benmelstobart (a novel PD-L1 inhibitor) plus anlotinib with sunitinib as first-line treatment for advanced renal cell carcinoma.
Methods: ETER100 was a multicentre, randomised, open-label, phase 3 trial conducted at 37 medical sites in China.
Purpose: To assess the practicality and utility of employing dual post-label delay (PLD) arterial spin labeling (ASL) in transient ischemic attack (TIA) individuals exhibiting Fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) vascular hyperintensity (FVH).
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of clinical data from TIA patients presenting with unilateral severe atherosclerotic stenosis or obstruction of either the intracranial internal carotid artery or the middle cerebral artery. Participants were categorized into two groups based on the presence or absence of FVH: FVH positive and FVH negative.

Background: Psoriasis, an immune-mediated chronic inflammatory skin disease, is characterized by keratinocyte proliferation and inflammatory cell infiltration. ripterygium wilfordii is a potential treatment option for psoriasis, and triptolide (TP) is one of its active components. TP may possess the potential to treat psoriasis; however, its mechanism of action remains unknown.

The lack of a testing framework for various indoor positioning technologies brings huge challenges to the systematic and fair evaluation of positioning systems, which greatly hinders the development and industrialization of indoor positioning technology. In order to solve this problem, this article refers to international standards, such as ISO/IEC 18305, and uses the China Electronics Standardization Institute's rich experience in indoor positioning technology research and testing to build a universal positioning performance testing and evaluation framework. First, this paper introduces the experimental environment in detail from the aspects of the coordinate system definition, test point selection, building type definition, motion mode definition, and motion trajectory setting.

Regorafenib is a targeted drug for standard third-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Regorafenib monotherapy has shown certain efficacy in the elderly population, but more robust evidence is needed.

Background: MRG002 is a novel HER2-targeted antibody-drug conjugate being investigated in the MRG002-006 trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety in HER2-positive urothelial carcinoma patients.
Methods: This is an open-label, single-arm, multicenter phase II study. Eligibility criteria included: histologically confirmed HER2 IHC 2 + or 3 + UC, prior received ≥ 1 standard treatment.
Objective: The effect of solamargine on lung adenocarcinoma and its effect on STAT1 signaling pathway mediated immune escape were studied through network pharmacology and in vitro and in vivo experiments.
Methods: The solamargine targets were screened using the TCMSP and the LUAD targets were screened using the GeneCard, OMIM, PharmGkb, TTD and DrugBank databases. PPI network analysis and target prediction were performed using GO and KEGG.
Background: The study of bladder preservation for muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) mainly focuses on the T2 stage, which remains difficult in the T3 and T4 stage. Pembrolizumab has been applied as neoadjuvant therapy followed by radical cystectomy for MIBC, gaining encouraging results in the phase II study. Disitamab vedotin, an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), also achieved promising efficacy for refractory bladder cancer.

Methods: The data of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who received regorafenib-containing regimen as the third or later line treatment at ten Chinese hospitals from Aug 2017 to Jun 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, including dosing details, survival data as well as adverse events. Survival analysis was further performed for patients administrated with regorafenib monotherapy and combined with an immune-checkpoint inhibitor based on Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression methods.
mPGES-1 is an enzyme, which, when activated by inflammatory factors, can cause prostaglandin E synthesis. Traditional non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are capable of inhibiting prostaglandin production, yet they can also cause gastrointestinal reactions and coagulation disorders. mPGES-1, the enzyme at the conclusion of prostaglandin production, does not cause any adverse reactions when inhibited.

Determining the quantity of active virus is the most important basis to judge the risk of virus infection, which usually relies on the virus median tissue culture infectious dose (TCID) assay performed in a biosafety level 3 laboratory within 5-7 days. We have developed a culture-free method for rapid and accurate quantification of active severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) by targeting subgenomic RNA (sgRNA) based on reverse transcription digital PCR (RT-dPCR). The dynamic range of quantitative assays for sgRNA-N and sgRNA-E by RT-dPCR was investigated, and the result showed that the limits of detection (LoD) and quantification (LoQ) were 2 copies/reaction and 10 copies/reaction, respectively.

We sought to examine the role of histone deacetylase (HDAC) 10 as an epigenetic regulator that governs macrophage M2 program and promotes airway inflammation in asthma, and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

Quercetin, a natural flavonoid abundant in plants and fruits, has been reported to alleviate NAFLD, however, the exact molecular mechanism remains unclear. This study aims to further elucidate its potential mechanism of action.

To analyze the value of the combined test of the cardiac color Doppler ultrasound, the serum middle receptor pro-atrial natriuretic peptide (MR-ProANP) and the N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-ProBNP) in forecasting the hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and left heart failure (LHF). All patients were subjected to cardiac color Doppler ultrasound examination to obtain left atrium volume index (LAVI), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), early-diastolic peak flow velocity (E), early-diastolic mean flow velocity (e'), early-diastolic peak flow velocity/early-diastolic mean flow velocity (E/e') and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Biomarkers were performed to obtain serum MR-ProANP and NT-ProBNP concentrations, and statistical analysis was performed.

Methods: Sixty-four patients were randomly divided between the Socazolimab + nab-paclitaxel + cisplatin (TP) arm (n = 32) and the control arm (n = 32), receiving either socazolimab (5 mg/kg intravenously (IV), day 1) or a placebo with nab-paclitaxel (125 mg/m IV, day 1/8) and cisplatin (75 mg/m IV, day 1) repeated every 21 days for four cycles before surgery. The primary endpoint was major pathological response (MPR), and the secondary endpoints were pathological complete response (pCR), R0 resection rate, event-free survival (EFS), overall survival (OS), and safety.
Background: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a new combination of nab-paclitaxel plus tegafur gimeracil oteracil potassium capsule (S-1) for patients with advanced biliary tract carcinoma (BTC).
Methods: Patients were treated with nab-paclitaxel at a dose of 125 mg/m on day 1 and 8, and S-1, 80 to 120 mg/day on days 1-14 of a 21-day cycle. Treatments were repeated until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurred.

A large number of epidemics, including COVID-19 and SARS, quickly swept the world and claimed the precious lives of large numbers of people. Due to the concealment and rapid spread of the virus, it is difficult to track down individuals with mild or asymptomatic symptoms with limited human resources. Building a low-cost and real-time epidemic early warning system to identify individuals who have been in contact with infected individuals and determine whether they need to be quarantined is an effective means to mitigate the spread of the epidemic.
