Objectives: Rhinoplasty is among the most commonly performed esthetic surgeries globally, with osteotomies playing a critical role in modifying nasal bone structure. The ideal osteotomy procedure aims for precision and minimal complications. Although navigation systems have advanced in various surgical fields, their use in rhinoplasty is still developing.

Methods: A comparative observational study was conducted in an otolaryngology tertiary care department according to STROBE guidelines. Patients seeking facial injections were recruited from July to October 2024.
BackgroundMicroaggressions are subtle verbal or behavioral insults (intentional or unintentional) that typically convey negative or hostile attitudes towards marginalized groups. We aim to study microaggressions and workplace culture amongst European otolaryngologist -head and neck surgeons (E-OTOHNS). The perception of "differential treatment" based on individual traits was used as a proxy for microaggressions.

Methods: Outpatients consulting in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery departments of 18 hospitals were surveyed about the perception of the role of AI in health care. The results were analyzed according to the age, gender, patient use of technology, and the level of education.
Recreational nasal cocaine use (RNCU) presents a significant challenge for rhinologists due to cocaine-induced midline destructive lesions (CIMDLs). This clinical consensus statement (CCS) offers guidelines for diagnosing, assessing, and managing both proven and suspected cases of CIMDL (including those without a prior RNCU history). It aims to support clinicians in addressing these complex cases effectively.

Background: The increasing popularity of cosmetic procedures has led to a rise in both surgical and nonsurgical interventions. Rhinoplasty, particularly nonsurgical rhinoplasty using injectable fillers such as hyaluronic acid (HA), has become highly sought after due to its minimally invasive nature. Despite its benefits, complications can occur, ranging from minor to severe.

Introduction: It is debatable whether neck dissection is necessary in patients with advanced laryngeal carcinoma who are clinically node-negative (cN0). We assessed the effect of neck dissection on overall survival in patients with cN0 undergoing primary or salvage laryngectomy.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective evaluation of cN0 patients who underwent primary or salvage total/pharyngolaryngectomy at a French tertiary facility in 2008-2018, with or without neck dissection, was carried out.

Introduction: The role of microbial profiles in Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyps (CRSwNP) pathogenesis is increasingly recognised, with microbial imbalances perpetuating inflammation. We performed this study to associate the different nasal microbiological profile changes with the response to surgical or monoclonal treatment.
Methods: This prospective observational study evaluated changes in the nasal microbial profiles of 44 patients (22 dupilumab, 22 surgery) over 6 months.
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of sound stimulation for enhancing drug distribution in the cochlea's perilymph, crucial for treating one of the most inaccessible organs and a major disability factor worldwide.
Design: A systematic scoping review following PRISMA guidelines was conducted, analysing studies on cochlear fluid dynamics influenced by sound stimulation. Data were collected from PubMed and Google Scholar using both MeSH and non-MeSH terms, with exclusions for unrelated topics.

Purpose: A hypometabolic profile involving the limbic areas, brainstem and cerebellum has been identified in long COVID patients using [F]fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-PET. This study was conducted to evaluate possible recovery of brain metabolism during the follow-up of patients with prolonged symptoms.
Methods: Fifty-six adults with long COVID who underwent two brain [F]FDG-PET scans in our department between May 2020 and October 2022 were retrospectively analysed, and compared to 51 healthy subjects.

Background: Conservative techniques have been developed in the field of rhinoplasty, focusing on limited tissue resection while emphasizing the reshaping of nasal structural elements.
Objectives: We aimed to prospectively evaluate aesthetic and functional outcomes following Video-Assisted Rhino-Septoplasty (VARS) using validated tools.
Methods: Patients' self-reported outcomes were assessed before and 6 months after surgery.
To provide an in-depth analysis of noninvasive methods for the early diagnosis of oral premalignant lesions, focusing on novel biomarkers and optical technologies, and to discuss their potential in improving the prognosis of patients with oral oncological diseases. This state-of-the-art review examines various noninvasive diagnostic techniques, including the utilization of salivary microRNAs and optical technologies such as Raman spectroscopy, elastic scattering spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, narrow-band imaging, autofluorescence imaging, toluidine blue staining, and microendoscopy. Background: Among all studies describing COVID-19 clinical features during the first wave of the pandemic, only a few retrospective studies have assessed the correlation between olfac-tory dysfunction (OD) and the evolution of disease severity. The main aim was to assess whether OD is a predictive factor of COVID-19 severity based on the patient's medical management (outpa-tient care, standard hospital admission, and ICU admission).
Methods: A national, prospective, mul-ticenter cohort study was conducted in 20 public hospitals and a public center for COVID-19 screen-ing.
