Acute high-altitude illness (AHAI), triggered by hypobaric hypoxia following rapid ascent to high elevations, induces complex pathophysiological responses that may be life-threatening. Recent advances in regenerative medicine have highlighted the therapeutic potential of stem cells in mitigating hypoxia-induced damage. Among them, Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), the most extensively investigated, exert therapeutic efficacy through immunomodulation, attenuation of oxidative stress, and enhancement of tissue repair mechanisms.

However, the pure-blue perovskite QD LEDs still suffer from low efficiency at high luminance: the EQE of the reported best device at 600 cd m is below 7.0%.

This study investigated the effect of titanium ions on tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) by foliar spraying and root irrigation with titanium ion solution (8 mg/L) in both pot and field trials.
Results: Pot and field trials showed that exogenous titanium ions significantly stimulated plant growth and root system development, enhanced antioxidant capacity, alleviated Blossom end rot and saline-alkali stress.

Relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) with extramedullary disease (EMD) represents a challenging condition, with limited treatment options and poor prognosis. We conducted a phase 1 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a novel bispecific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting two antigens, B-cell maturation antigen and G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (BCMA/GPRC5D), in this high-risk population. A total of 12 patients were enrolled, of whom 3 were excluded due to disease progression or death before CAR T-cell infusion, despite meeting the inclusion criteria, leaving 9 for analysis.

Methods: Comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation of the patient's disease status were conducted through lymph node biopsy, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, PET/CT, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, fusion gene detection, and whole-exome sequencing (WES) based on the clinical manifestations at different stages.
Results: The lymph node biopsy revealed Ki67 positivity at 80 % and expression of TDT, CD4, CD8, CD3, and CD5.

Mango bacterial black spot is a major disease limiting mango production, which is now causing increasingly severe economic losses. In this study, we analyzed the differences in the composition and structure of bacterial and fungal communities in the pulp and leaves between the healthy mangoes of variety Kate and those affected by bacterial black spot, and attempted to explore potential biocontrol microorganisms for mangoes. The results showed there existed significant differences in microbial communities, the bacterial Stenotrophomonas, Curtobacterium, Massilia and fungous Penicillium, Alternaria, Aureobasidiu showed great abundance both in pulps and leaves.

KIAA1429 produce a tumorigenic role in various cancers through regulating DAPK3, ID2, GATA3, SMC1A, CDK1, SIRT1 and other targets, promoting cell proliferation, migration, invasion, metastasis and tumor growth . At the same time, KIAA1429 is also effective in non-tumor diseases, such as reproductive system and cardiovascular system diseases.

Plant litter input has important influences on soil CO emission and soil organic carbon (SOC) formation in terrestrial ecosystem. However, it is not well known for the fate of carbon when exogenous organic matters with different chemical structures are added to soil with different textures. In this study, we added the uniformly C-labelled substrates of glucose, starch, and cellulose to red soil and sandy soil, and compared the net C accumulation and recovery and its proportions in soil releasing CO, SOC, dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and microbial biomass carbon (MBC) pools.

This strategy provides an alternative route to realize molecular complexity and diversity from simple and readily available molecules via multiple C-H bond activation. Preliminary mechanistic studies demonstrated that β,γ-dehydrogenation is triggered by the arylation of the C(sp)-H bond and the intramolecular C-N coupling.

Here, we assess how Dox modulates myocardial energy and contractile function and this could aid the development of relevant protective drugs. Mice were subjected to doxorubicin and breviscapine treatment.

Numerous studies with NAD+ supplementations have suggested its use in anti-aging treatment. However, systematic reviews regarding the overall role of NAD+ in cardiac aging are scarce.

Due to its potential fatal cardiotoxic side effects, the clinical application is often limited. Dexrazoxane (Dex) is the only drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the prevention of Dox-induced cardiotoxicity but has side effects.

Litter is one of the most important factors controlling the accumulation, stabilization, and turnover of soil organic carbon (SOC) in forests. There is a knowledge gap of the impacts of aboveground and belowground litter inputs on the balance of new and old SOC under different forests in subtropical region. We examined the effects of aboveground and belowground litter inputs on SOC turnover using isotopic tracing technique, based on a 3-year C3 plants/C4 soil replacement experiment in natural forest (NF), Masson pine () plantation (PM) and Chinese fir () plantation (CL).

However, some DLBCLs featuring relatively low F-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) uptake denoted by the maximum standardized uptake value (SUV) on PET/CT have been identified. The biologic correlates of such a heterogeneity have remained largely unknown.

Objective: To study the relationship between the copy numbers of repetitive units at variable number tandem repeat (VNTR) loci of complex (MTBC) with its diversity of protein profiles.
Methods: The MTBC strains were subjected to genotyping using multiple locus variable number tandem repeat analysis (MLVA). Also, the principal component analysis (PCA) was performed for bacterial protein profiles of MTBC using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS).
