Background: Eating concerns are core symptoms of eating disorders (EDs). Attachment theory assists in understanding the underlying psychological mechanisms behind eating concerns and suggests that the relationship between eating concerns and parenting styles may be connected through patients' self-compassion. Consequently, the present study aims to investigate the relationship between parenting styles and eating concerns, along with the mediating role of self-compassion.

Background And Aim: The evidence regarding the effect of the trajectory of blood pressure (BP) during pregnancy on children's cardiometabolic risk (CMR) was absence. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between maternal BP in the first, second, and third trimester of pregnancy and the trajectory of maternal BP during pregnancy and children's cardiometabolic function.
Methods And Results: 2159 mother-child pairs with singleton live births from the Ma'anshan Birth Cohort were included in the study.
Hierarchical porous N-doped carbon spheres featuring a combination of micropores, mesopores and macropores as well as tuneable properties were synthesised using dopamine as a carbon precursor and triblock copolymers (F127, P123 and F127/P123 composites) as templates via direct polymerisation-induced self-assembly. The structures and textures of these materials were characterised using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, N adsorption-desorption isotherm analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The sample synthesised at an F127:P123 molar ratio of 1:3 (NCS-FP3) exhibited the highest surface area (463 m/g) and pore volume (0.

The combination of tirofiban and cilostazol has shown potential efficacy, but clinical validation remains limited. This study evaluated the effects of tirofiban combined with cilostazol on cardiac function recovery and prognosis in elderly ACS patients after PCI.

Currently, antidepressant chemical drug therapeutic regimens are the mainstay, but they have low recovery rates, and a significant portion of patients develop refractory depression. Consequently, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has emerged as a crucial alternative, with various studies investigating its potential in both standalone and adjunctive treatments for depression.

Research the impact of miR-210 on intracerebral hemorrhage and probe into its working mechanism. The ICH model was established by injecting collagenase into the basal ganglia of male C57/BL6 mice (n = 142).

A total of 218 pregnant women with ABO blood group incompatibility were recruited from the Third People's Hospital of Bengbu Affiliated to Bengbu Medical University. The serum levels of PS, VCAM-1, and VE-Cad were measured, and the participants were followed up until postpartum.

In this study, we analyzed the composition and spatiotemporal variation of ARGs in the sediments of eutrophic Chaohu Lake, China, using a metagenomic method. A total of 22 ARGs and 199 ARGs subtypes were detected, with the most prevalent subtypes being multidrug (57.

Emerging evidence highlights the critical role of microRNAs (miRNAs) in the pathogenesis of depression, with plasma-derived small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) emerging as promising biomarkers. In this study, we collected peripheral blood plasma samples from patients diagnosed with MDD, as assessed by the Hamilton Depression Rating scale, alongside healthy individuals serving as controls.

Background: Abnormalities of the switch/sucrose nonfermentable (SWI/SNF) chromatin-remodeling complex are closely related to various cancers, and ARID1B (AT-rich interaction domain 1B) is one of the core subunits of the SWI/SNF complex. Mutations or copy number deletions of the ARID1B gene are associated with impaired DNA damage response and altered chromatin accessibility. However, whether ARID1B deficiency affects the proliferation, migration and invasion abilities of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells and its molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood.

Objective: To evaluate the operation and outcomes of an integrated dog-mediated rabies elimination programme in the Beijing municipality, China.
Methods: Beginning in 2014, the Beijing Animal Disease Control Center launched a dog-mediated rabies elimination programme in collaboration with local government and nongovernmental organizations. The programme involved: (i) a compulsory canine rabies vaccination campaign; (ii) rabies surveillance of local dog populations; (iii) educational rabies awareness programmes in public areas and schools; and (iv) the establishment of an online service platform to strengthen communications on rabies with the public.

In this study, seasonal variations in microorganisms at the sediment-water interface (SWI) of the eutrophic Lake Chaohu in China were analyzed, in order to reveal changes in phosphorus (P)-cycling-related microbes in the sediments and its association with internal P release during the cyanobacterial life cycle. The identified P-cycling-related microbes include phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) (dominant of Bacillus, Thiobacillus and Acinetobacter), sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) (dominant of Sva0081_ sediment_ group, norank_ c__ Thermodesulfovibrionia and Desulfatiglans) and iron-reducing bacteria (FeRB) (dominant of Geothermobacter, Anaeromyxobacter, Thermoanaerobaculum and Clostridium_sensu_stricto_1).

Background: Diabetes and obesity are established risk factors for heart failure(HF). Although the TyG (triglyceride-glucose) index serves as a sensitive marker for identifying insulin resistance, there is a lack of comprehensive evidence regarding whether its integration with obesity indices can enhance the predictive capacity for HF. This prospective cohort study is designed to explore the correlation between TyG indices in conjunction with obesity indices (TyG-body mass index, or TyG-BMI; TyG-waist circumference, or TyG-WC; TyG-waist circumference-to-height ratio, or TyG-WHtR) and the risk of HF.

ObjectiveTo explore the predictive value of the modified NUTrition Risk in the Critically ill (mNUTRIC) for patients with sepsis and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) developing into chronic critical illness (CCI).BackgroundSepsis is an important risk factor for Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and sepsis induced ARDS accounts for 32% of patients. Patients with this subtype of ARDS have a worse prognosis than those with sepsis alone or ARDS, usually facing higher mortality rates and lower success rates of extubation, and have received more attention in clinical practice.

Although previous neuroimaging studies have investigated the neurobiological correlates of the ERN in major depressive disorder (MDD), whether patients with MDD exhibit abnormal functional connectivity (FC) patterns in the ERN and whether the abnormal FC in the ERN can serve as a therapeutic response signature remain unclear.
Methods: A large functional magnetic resonance imaging dataset comprising 709 patients with MDD and 725 healthy controls (HCs) recruited across five sites was analyzed.
