The plant microbiome plays a crucial role in facilitating plant growth through enhancing nutrient cycling, acquisition and transport, as well as alleviating stresses induced by nutrient limitations. Despite its significance, the relative importance of common agronomic practices, such as nitrogenous fertilizer, in shaping the plant microbiome across different cultivars remains unclear. This study investigated the dynamics of bacterial and fungal communities in leaf, root, rhizosphere, and bulk soil in response to nitrogenous fertilizer across ten sorghum varieties, using 16S rRNA and ITS gene amplicon sequencing, respectively.

One of the major limitations in the clinical use of existing oxazolidinone antibiotics is their characteristic adverse reactions, in particular thrombocytopenia. In anti-infective treatment, if patients are suspected of having drug-induced thrombocytopenia, the first step is to immediately discontinue the offending drug. Even in patients with severe infections, the antibacterial drug may need to be changed or the antibacterial treatment may need to be discontinued because thrombocytopenia may have a more serious clinical prognosis.

To address the problem of low efficiency for manual detection in the defect detection field for metal shafts, we propose a deep learning defect detection method based on the improved YOLOv5 algorithm. First, we add a Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) mechanism layer to the last layer of the backbone network to improve the feature extraction capability. Second, the neck network introduces the Bi-directional Feature Pyramid Network (BiFPN) module to replace the original Path-Aggregation Network (PAN) structure and enhance the multi-scale feature fusion.

Photovoltaic (PV) cell defect detection has become a prominent problem in the development of the PV industry; however, the entire industry lacks effective technical means. In this paper, we propose a deep-learning-based defect detection method for photovoltaic cells, which addresses two technical challenges: (1) to propose a method for data enhancement and category weight assignment, which effectively mitigates the impact of the problem of scant data and data imbalance on model performance; (2) to propose a feature fusion method based on ResNet152-Xception. A coordinate attention (CA) mechanism is incorporated into the feature map to enhance the feature extraction capability of the existing model.
