Isavuconazole (ISA) is a first-line treatment for invasive aspergillosis, with routine therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) typically deemed unnecessary. Although the drug label and prior studies suggest renal function does not affect ISA pharmacokinetics, our findings in two high-risk patients challenge this perspective, showing an inverse correlation between ISA trough concentrations and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Trough concentrations exceeding the reported toxicity threshold were associated with adverse drug reactions (ADRs).

Twenty-four cardiac glycosides - including six previously undescribed compounds (1-6) and eighteen known analogues (7-24) - were isolated from the whole herb of Adonis amurensis. Their structures were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analysis (1D/2D NMR, HRMS) and acid hydrolysis. All compounds exhibited potent in vitro cytotoxicity against diverse cancer cell lines, with IC₅₀ values ranging from 0.

Endogenous retroviruses (ERVs) originate from ancient retroviruses invading the host, and ERV-derived sequences can function as regulatory elements which influence gene expression and contribute to both physiological and pathological processes.

Hafnium oxide-based ferroelectric thin films are widely recognized as a CMOS-compatible and highly scalable material platform for next-generation non-volatile memory and logic devices. While out-of-plane ferroelectricity in hafnium oxide films has been intensively investigated and utilized in devices, purely in-plane ferroelectricity of hafnium oxides remains unexplored. In this work, we demonstrate a reversible structural modulation of the orthorhombic phase HfZrO films between (111)-oriented [HZO(111)] multi-domain and (100)-oriented [HZO(100)] single-domain configurations by altering perovskite oxide buffer layers.

Background: The prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is significantly higher in males than in females; although the underlying etiology remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the multi-scale reorganization of brain networks in preschool-aged boys with ASD and their impact on clinical symptoms.
Methods: A total of 54 children with ASD (40 boys and 14 girls) and 44 typically developing (TD) children (28 boys and 16 girls), aged between 2 and 6 years, were recruited for this study.
The integration of ferroelectrics with semiconductors is crucial for developing functional devices, such as field-effect transistors, tunnel junctions, and nonvolatile memories. However, the synthesis of high-quality single-crystalline ferroelectric nitride perovskites has been limited, hindering a comprehensive understanding of their switching dynamics. Here we report the synthesis and characterizations of epitaxial single-phase ferroelectric cerium tantalum nitride (CeTaN) on both oxides and semiconductors.

Hormonomics represents an innovative approach to plant physiology and biochemistry. We utilized hormonomics to analyze the hormone profiles of three lily bulbs. The hormones specifically enriched in BiFeng7 lily show a strong response to secondary metabolism pathways, while the Diwanghuang lily profile was predominantly focused on growth.

The significance of dispersal limitation in microbial ecology and biogeography remains debated. We aimed to clarify the role of dispersal limitation in the adaptation of methanotroph communities to salt-stress, essentially testing the 'everything is everywhere' hypothesis in functional terms. Riparian sediments along the Yangtze River and lakeshore sediments at varying geographical distances inland from the river were collected.

In cancer, dysregulation of Hippo/YAP signaling is typically recognized as one of the crucial drivers in tumorigenesis. However, beyond its canonical transcriptional targets, Hippo/YAP signaling engages in extensive crosstalk with multiple pathways to form an intricate regulatory network, thereby giving rise to its content-dependent influence on tumor initiation, progression and metastasis.

Transcription poses a major challenge for genome stability. The RECQL5 helicase helps safeguard genome integrity and is the only member of the human RecQ helicase family that directly binds to RNA polymerase II (Pol II) and affects its progression. While RECQL5 mitigates transcription stress in cells, the molecular mechanism underlying this phenomenon is unclear.

This study evaluates the efficacy of an ecological treatment system in treating shrimp pond wastewater, focusing on water quality improvement, microbial community dynamics, phytoplankton composition, and antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) mitigation. Using adjacent river indicators as a reference, comparative analyses were conducted on phytoplankton density and biomass, key water quality parameters, and microbial parameters in shrimp culture and ecological ponds across key growth stages and the pond cleaning period.

The working efficiency, reliability, and stability of electronic materials and devices in real environments often face challenges from humid conditions, aging, mildew, chemical damage (especially corrosion), and physical damage (like freezing and abrasion). To address these issues, endowing conductive materials with bionic superhydrophobicity offers promising solutions by providing them with wet-resistant, antifreezing, anticorrosion, antifouling, and other functions. Through different methods including immersion, coating, spraying, solvothermal reaction, and layer-by-layer (LBL) self-assembly, etching and screen printing, etc.

A targeted metabolomics method was used to quantify 186 metabolites in plasma samples collected at recruitment.

However, with the continuous promotion of the policy since its initial introduction, it now faces new controversies. Parents from varying family socio-economic backgrounds exhibit divergent responses to the "Double Reduction" policy, necessitating an examination of parental education anxiety through the lens of family socio-economic status at this juncture.

Here, we identify a role for WDR45 in stress granule (SG) disassembly, mediated through its phase separation with Caprin-1. We demonstrate that WDR45 forms gel-like condensates via its WD5 domain, which competitively displaces G3BP1 from Caprin-1 to promote SG disassembly.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine metabolic syndrome characterized by ovulation disorders, hyperandrogenemia, and polycystic ovaries, which seriously affect the psychological and physical health of childbearing women. N6-methyladenosine (m6A), as the most common mRNA epigenetic modification in eukaryotes, is vital for developing the female reproductive system and reproductive diseases. In recent years, an increasing number of studies have revealed the mechanisms by which m6A modifications and their related proteins are promoting the development of PCOS, including writers, erasers and readers.
