An efficient and environmentally benign protocol for synthesizing valuable and structurally diverse phosphoramidates via the sodium iodide (NaI)-catalyzed oxidative cross-coupling of various H-phosphonates with both aromatic and aliphatic amines. This new method utilizes HO (30% aq.) as a green oxidant, ethyl acetate (EA) as a renewable, low-toxic solvent, and inexpensive, readily available NaI (10 mol%) as the sole catalyst, circumventing the need for toxic reagents, transition metal catalysts, and special equipment.

Conventional cancer chemotherapeutics have long been confronted by significant challenges such as adverse effects and drug resistance. A target protein degradation technology, proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs), emerges as a novel modality but with pharmacokinetic issues and toxicity limitations. In order to overcome limited permeability of PROTACs and minimize their on-target off-tumor toxicity in healthy tissues, various conjugates with biomacromolecules (antibodies or aptamers) have been engineered.

Objective: Lenvatinib (LEN), a first-line treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), faces limitations due to adverse effects and drug resistance. This study aimed to develop LEN-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) modified with Twenty-polyglycerol vitamin E succinate (PG20-VES@LEN-SLNs) to enhance therapeutic efficacy and compare them with Tween80-modified SLNs (Tween80@LEN-SLNs).
Methods: The formulation of LEN-SLNs was optimized based on particle size and polydispersity index (PDI) by screening lipid matrices (GMS, GMP, SA, CP, GB, GMD), surfactant types (Tween80, PG20-VES, TPGS1000, F68), and GMS:SPC ratios.

This study have previously reported that ZIF-based chiral nanomedicines achieve Parkinson's disease (PD) therapy through differential metabolism and relief of neuroinflammation. However, lack of overall chirality and anti-inflammatory capacity of nanomedicines limit the further effective solution to the nanobiological effects research in PD. Here, it dexterously loaded chiral gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) onto the inner and outer surfaces of ZIF to achieve the purpose of simultaneously improving the overall chirality and anti-inflammatory activity of the composite nanoparticles (NPs).

The oxidative C2-C3 π bond activation strategy is the most efficient tool to synthesize oxygen-containing indoline, which frequently appears in natural products with various biological activities as structural units. Recently, the oxidation-induced cascade strategy through oxygenation activation of the indolic C2-C3 π bond of indoles has received much attention for its use in efficiently establishing complex indoline with oxygen-containing molecular architectures, and holds tremendous potential in the total synthesis of indole alkaloids. It can be carried out using potential activated indole radical cations or imine cation intermediates produced oxidative C2-C3 π bond activation of indole with various nucleophiles or ring-forming reagents by employing simple and non-decorated indoles as starting substrates.

A new multifunctional emulsifier was synthesized by coupling maltodextrin with a dextrose equivalent of 19 to vitamin E succinate. Two emulsifiers with varying degrees of vitamin E succinate substitution were prepared based on different mass ratios of vitamin E succinate to maltodextrin. The molecular structure and purity of these emulsifiers were analyzed.

Compared to the effect of the active hydrogen atom in the cation in protic ionic liquids (ILs) on their properties and applications, there are very few reports on the role of the active hydrogen atom in the anion. In order to better understand the role of the active hydrogen atom in the anion, the physical properties, CO capture and conversion of three hydantoin-based anion-functionalized ILs ([P][Hy], [P][Hy], and [HDBU][Hy]) have been investigated experiments, spectroscopy, and DFT calculations in this work. The results show that the active hydrogen atom in the anion can form anionic hydrogen bonding networks, which significantly increase the melting point and viscosity and decrease the basicity of the IL, thereby weakening its ability to capture and convert CO.

This study aimed to synthesize a novel emulsifier, hyaluronic acid-poly(glyceryl)10-stearate (HA-PG10-C18), and employ it for the fabrication of nanoemulsions incorporating deep-sea fish oil to improve their apparent solubility and physicochemical stability. H NMR and FT-IR analyses indicated successful synthesis of HA-PG10-C18. Nanoemulsions of deep-sea fish oil loaded with HA-PG10-C18 (HA-PG10-C18@NE) were successfully fabricated by ultrasonic emulsification.

A visible-light-driven desaturative β-alkoxyoxalyation of N-aryl cyclic amines with difluoromethyl bromides and HO has been reported. This tandem reaction is triggered by homolysis of the C-Br bond to produce the difuoroalkyl radical, which undergoes the subsequent defluorinated β-alkoxyoxalylation cascades to afford a wide range of β-ketoester/ketoamides substituted enamines. The prominent feature of this reaction contains photocatalyst-free, transition-metal free, and mild conditions.

Fish oils are a rich source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, including eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, which are reported to exhibit therapeutic effects in a variety of human diseases. However, these oils are highly susceptible to degradation due to oxidation, leading to rancidity and the formation of potentially toxic reaction products. The aim of this study was to synthesize a novel emulsifier (HA-PG10-C18) by esterifying hyaluronic acid with poly(glyceryl)-stearate (PG10-C18).

The increasing usage of an important heavy metal chromium for industrial purposes, such as metallurgy, electroplating, leather tanning, and other fields, has contributed to an augmented level of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) in watercourses negatively impacting the ecosystems and significantly making Cr(VI) pollution a serious environmental issue. In this regard, iron nanoparticles exhibited great reactivity in remediation of Cr(VI)-polluted waters and soils, but, the persistence and dispersion of the raw iron should be improved. Herein, this article utilized an environment-friendly celite as a modifying reagent and described the preparation of a novel composites namaly celite decorated iron nanoparticles (C-Fe) and evaluation of C-Fe for the sequestration performance of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution.
