Aim: This study aims to develop and validate an instructional debriefing model that combines question-centered learning methodology with AI prompt engineering techniques for nursing simulations.
Background: Integrating artificial intelligence (AI)-based prompt engineering into nursing simulation offers structured strategies to enhance clinical reasoning. However, current debriefing models insufficiently incorporate AI methodologies such as question-centered learning and prompt engineering, indicating a lack of theoretical and procedural frameworks METHODS: The model was developed using a four-phase approach: (1) literature review, (2) instructor interviews, (3) expert validation and (4) external evaluation of effectiveness.

In Brief: Sulfiredoxin (Srxn1) is essential for corpus luteum formation during ovulation. Inhibition of Srxn1 with J14 suppressed LH-stimulated progesterone production, key gene expressions (Cyp11a1, StAR), and markers of luteinization. This highlights Srxn1's role in promoting LH-induced luteinization through the ERK, C/EBPβ, and Cyp11a1 pathways.

The extensive distribution of microplastics (MPs) in the environment and their food chain contamination urgently necessitates a deeper understanding of their molecular-level impact on physiological responses. This study employed a mass spectrometry-based proteomics approach to investigate the potential risks, mechanisms of associated cellular processes, and biological reactions to preformed protein-MPs coronation and intact MPs using brain-derived neuronal and glial cells. Our findings indicate that MPs can adsorb proteins and form a heterogeneous corona layer when interacting with biological fluids such as serum.

This study examines the Metaverse-a virtual world that merges entertainment, work, and social interactions-in terms of leisure tourism, using the frameworks of innovation resistance and diffusion theories. It explores the factors that drive and hinder Chinese Gen Z tourists' resistance to Metaverse technology, including the moderating role of personal innovativeness. An analysis of data from 400 Chinese Gen Z tourists revealed that, in addition to risk barriers, factors such as value, usage, image, and traditional barriers significantly impact innovation resistance.

Given the limited published data, we examined three-year outcomes in patients with and without diabetes mellitus (DM) in non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), according to left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). A total of 4594 patients were classified into DM (n = 1608) and non-DM (n = 2986) groups. They were further classified into heart failure with reduced EF (HFrEF, LVEF ≤ 40%), HF with mildly reduced EF (HFmrEF, LVEF 41-49%), and HF with preserved EF (HFpEF, LVEF ≥ 50%) subgroups.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) can have lasting psychological and cognitive effects, potentially impairing facial emotion recognition (FER). This study examines the accuracy of FER among IPV survivors compared to individuals without IPV experience within the Korean baby boomer generation, aged 60-69, exploring the relationship between IPV, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, and FER abilities. To assess whether IPV impacts FER accuracy and intensity and to investigate whether symptoms of PTSD moderate this relationship.

This study investigates the experiences and perceptions of audiences watching online music performances by children with autism, focusing on how the emotions and competence displayed by the children during the performances affect the audience's sense of immersion and acceptance. We conducted an online survey with 949 respondents, t-tests was used to compare the differences before and after the respondents watching the performance, and structural equation modeling was used to analyzed the path relationships among variables. The results showed that audience acceptance was significantly higher after watching the music performances (t = -6.

Background/aim: Pre-mRNA processing factor 4 (PRPF4), a core protein of U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs), is crucial for maintaining their structure by interacting with PRPF3 and Cyclophilin H. Beyond its role in splicing, PRPF4 has been implicated in cell survival, apoptosis, and oncogenesis. Although PRPF4 mutations have been associated with retinitis pigmentosa, its role in glioblastoma (GBM) remains unclear.

This study proposes an advanced plant disease classification framework leveraging the Attention Score-Based Multi-Vision Transformer (Multi-ViT) model. The framework introduces a novel attention mechanism to dynamically prioritize relevant features from multiple leaf images, overcoming the limitations of single-leaf-based diagnoses. Building on the Vision Transformer (ViT) architecture, the Multi-ViT model aggregates diverse feature representations by combining outputs from multiple ViTs, each capturing unique visual patterns.

Background: Bone remodeling is a critical process that maintains skeletal integrity, orchestrated by the balanced activities of osteoclasts, which resorb bone, and osteoblasts, which form bone. Osteoclastogenesis, the formation of osteoclasts, is primarily driven by NFATc1, a process activated through c-Fos and NF-κB signaling pathways in response to receptor activator of nuclear factor κB ligand (RANKL). Dysregulation of RANKL signaling is a key contributor to pathological bone loss, as seen in conditions such as osteoporosis.
