In this tutorial, we present TrAGICo (Trends Analysis Guided Interfaces Collection), a Python collection of functions for the extraction and analysis of experimental parameters from 1D and pseudo-2D NMR spectra acquired on Bruker instruments. We demonstrate the application of TrAGICo through practical examples, highlighting its utility for various NMR applications, such as extraction of the chemical shift temperature dependence, relaxation studies, and reaction monitoring.

Purpose: To verify the stability and reliability of circulating microRNA (miRNA) profiles in plasma and serum under different processing and storage conditions to inform future applications to circulating biomarker analyses.
Background: The development of blood-based methods for early disease detection has become increasingly desirable across various medical fields. RNA profiles have been investigated but have been a challenge due to rapid degradation of the analyte by ubiquitous RNases.

Contralateral breast (CB) cancer is the most common subsequent cancer among breast cancer survivors, and radiotherapy has been linked to CB cancer risk. The purpose of this work was to evaluate doses to subregions of the contralateral breast from historical breast cancer treatments carried out in the United States between 1990 and 2012. We extracted treatment data from radiation therapy summaries for 2,442 radiotherapy patients during that period.

Seatbelt-induced pelvic iliac wing injuries have been observed since the 1970s, but only recently has there been quantification of fracture tolerance and injury risk of the iliac wing. Previous studies have shown a wide variation in iliac wing fracture tolerance with no significant relationships to pelvis size, sex, or other factors. A weighted average bone density (BD) calculation of the entire iliac wing produced the best predictive performance of fracture tolerance in parametric (Weibull) survival models.

SnSe is a layered semiconductor with intrinsically low thermal conductivity, making it a promising candidate for thermoelectric and thermal management applications. However, detailed measurements of the intrinsic thermal conductivity of SnSe nanosheets grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) remain scarce. Here, monocrystalline SnSe nanosheets were synthesized by CVD, with systematic investigation of thickness-dependent in-plane thermal conductivity.

Research Question: What is the global, regional and national burden of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), particularly in adolescents, based on data from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2021 study?
Design: Prevalence, incidence and years lived with disability (YLD) for PCOS were extracted from the GBD 2021 database, standardized via Bayesian meta-regression, and stratified by age, region and Socio-Demographic Index (SDI). Temporal trends (1990-2021) were presented, and future projections (to 2045) were modelled using autoregressive integrated moving average models.
Results: Between 1990 and 2021, the global prevalence of PCOS increased from 36.
