Despite the growing recognition of cultural safety in Australian healthcare, radiology remains an area where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples continue to face substantial barriers. Although medical education has integrated broader Indigenous health training, clinical radiology has often been overlooked. The common misconception that radiology is a technical, patient-detached specialty has contributed to a lack of culturally competent training for radiologists and radiographers. Given the high burden of diseases requiring imaging, such as chronic respiratory illness, otitis media, cardiovascular disease and trauma-related injuries, culturally safe radiological services are vital for achieving health equity.

Introduction: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) has a poor prognosis due to its immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME), in which tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) play a pivotal role in promoting disease progression and therapeutic resistance. This study examines whether Prussian blue nanoparticles (PB NPs) could reprogram TAMs and block tumor-stroma communication in OSCC.
Methods: PB NPs were synthesized using polyvinylpyrrolidone-assisted coprecipitation and characterized by transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

Just as Gregor Mendel's laws of inheritance laid the foundation for modern genetics, the emergence of Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)/Cas systems has catalyzed a new era in precision genome engineering. CRISPR/Cas has revolutionized rice ( L.) breeding by enabling precise, transgene-free edits to improve yield, nutrition, and stress tolerance.
