The use of cryoablation for B3 fibroepithelial lesions (FELs) of the breast has not been well-documented. Cryoablation offers several advantages over surgery in treating breast masses, including avoidance of general anesthesia, less invasiveness, shorter recovery, and greater cost-effectiveness. This prospective study reported the outcome of a patient with a breast B3 FEL treated with cryoablation. Post-procedure, the patient reported low pain scores, early return to work, and good cosmesis without complications. The mass also reduced in size, demonstrating that cryoablation could be a feasible method to treat such masses. Larger studies with longer-term follow-up are required to validate these findings.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of computed tomography (CT)-guided co-ablation in patients with hepatic metastases from malignant melanoma.
Methods: Clinical data of 79 patients with hepatic metastases from malignant melanoma who underwent co-ablation (integration of cryoablation and thermal ablation) and programmed death 1 (PD-1) treatment between October 2019 and January 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into group A (n = 50), patients who received co-ablation, and group B (n = 29), patients who received PD-1 treatment.

Background: Transbronchial cryobiopsy (TBCB) is generally recommended under intubation or rigid bronchoscopy with general anesthesia. However, some patients with diffuse parenchymal lung disease (DPLD) are unable to tolerate general anesthesia, which limits the widespread adoption of TBCB.
Methods: A total of 37 patients with DPLD who underwent TBCB under conscious sedation without intubation were included in this study.
