(Steph. ex. Willd.) Ikonn.-Gal., an ancient Chinese herbal medicine, is traditionally used to treat blood stasis diseases such as myocardial ischemia (MI). However, its pharmacodynamics substances of the anti-MI effect and their potential mechanisms remain unclear. This study aims to elucidate the pharmacodynamics effects of against MI and reveal their underlying mechanisms in zebrafish. LSD fraction was screened out for anti-MI active fraction from by isoprenaline hydrochloride (ISO)-induced zebrafish. It could increase the stroke volume, ejection fraction, and ventricular short-axis systolic rate in the zebrafish model. A total of 30 compounds (Nos. -) were isolated and identified from LSD by various chromatographic techniques and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Among them, six compounds, including three lignin compounds (Nos. , , and ) and three flavonoid glycosides (Nos. , , and ), showed noticeable anti-MI activities, and tiliroside (No. ) was more active. Molecular docking indicated that tiliroside has a strong binding ability with the proteins KDR, PI3K, Akt, Erk, p38, Bcl-2, Bax, and Caspase3. In the end, the results of RT-qPCR manifested that tiliroside markedly upregulated expression levels of genes , , , , , , and and prominently downregulated expression levels of genes and . According to the above results, tiliroside activated the -mediated PI3K-Akt and MAPK signaling pathways to exert the anti-MI activity. These discoveries give a scientific basis for applying in MI treatment and suggest new avenues for developing tiliroside as a candidate for MI therapy.

Objectives: The Charlson comorbidity index reflects overall comorbidity burden and has been applied in cardiovascular medicine. However, its role in predicting in-hospital mortality in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated by ventricular arrhythmias (VA) remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the predictive value of the Charlson comorbidity index in this setting and to construct a nomogram model for early risk identification and individualized management to improve outcomes.

Background: Albumin and BMI have been used as nutritional markers of morbidity and mortality. Recently, prealbumin has grown in interest in other surgical disciplines, but less so in cardiac surgery. Thus, this study examined the association between prealbumin and bleeding, mortality, and readmission in coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) patients.

Background: Given the divergence in recommendations regarding the relevance of inducible ischemia regarding the indication to revascularize chronic total occlusions (CTOs) among European and North American guidelines, we aim at investigating the prevalence and the prognostic impact of significant inducible ischemia in an unselected cohort of asymptomatic CTO patients, integrating collateralization status and viability assessment with stress cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR).
Methods: From a cohort of 749 patients referred to our center with a diagnosis of CTO, we retrospectively analyzed 111 asymptomatic individuals who underwent an adenosine stress CMR. The amount of inducible ischemia subtended by the CTO was calculated, as well as the presence of viable myocardium and the collateralization status.

Objectives: We propose a myocardial infarction (MI) detection and localization model for improving the diagnostic accuracy for MI to provide assistance to clinical decision-making.
Methods: The proposed model was constructed based on multi-scale field residual blocks fusion modified channel attention (MSF-RB-MCA). The model utilizes lead II electrocardiogram (ECG) signals to detect and localize MI, and extracts different levels of feature information through the multi-scale field residual block.

Objectives: To clarify the role of hippocampal glutamate system in regulating HPA axis in mediating the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at the heart meridian for improving myocardial injury in rats with acute myocardial ischemia (AMI).
Methods: Male SD rats were randomized into sham-operated group, AMI group, EA group, and L-glutamic acid+EA group (=9). Rat models of AMI were established by left descending coronary artery ligation, and EA was applied at the "Shenmen-Tongli" segment; the rats in L-glutamic acid+EA group were subjected to microinjection of L-glutamic acid into the bilateral hippocampus prior to AMI modeling and EA treatment.
