CuF and LiBOB were co-introduced into polycarbonate-based polymer electrolytes (PVT-CB) to overcome the trade-offs between ionic conduction and interfacial stability, resulting in improved ionic conductivity (8.4 × 10 S cm) and enhanced electrochemical stability (5.04 V Li/Li). The resultant Li|PVT-CB|LCO cells show a boosting capacity retention of 88.8% after 250 cycles. The combination of CuF and LiBOB not only facilitates efficient Li transport but also enhances the stability of the electrolyte-electrode interface, making PVT-CB a promising candidate for high-performance, durable solid-state lithium metal batteries.

Electrochemical depolymerization of lignin to produce low molecular weight aromatic compounds is characterized by mild conditions and low carbon emissions. However, using non-metallic catalysts for this process faces challenges in terms of selectivity and activity. This study found that high-melting-point organic salts - tetra-n-butyl tetrafluoroborate (TBABF), can function simultaneously as a catalyst and oxidant at room temperature and in air, effectively catalyzing the CO bond cleavage in lignin.

Lithium‑sulfur batteries (LSBs) are promising alternatives to lithium-ion batteries due to their high energy density and low cost. However, issues like the lithium polysulfide (LiPSs) shuttle effect, lithium dendrite growth, and flammable electrolytes hinder commercialization. In this study, we have developed a metal-based catalyst, bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) nanoflowers coated with conductive polypyrrole (Bi@Ppy), via hydrothermal synthesis.

Neither single electrolyte design nor solid electrolyte interface (SEI) engineering alone can effectively resolve the dual challenges of sluggish reaction kinetics and unstable interfaces in polymer-based lithium metal batteries (LMBs). Herein, a rational integrated design strategy is adopted to simultaneously fabricate poly(trifluoroethyl methacrylate-co-4-oxo-5,8,11-trioxa-3-azatridec-12-en-1-yl acrylate)-based gel polymer electrolyte (PTDA-GPE) and stable composite SEI during the thermal-induced in situ polymerization process. The resulting PTDA-GPE demonstrates superior Li transport kinetics (1.

While plants adapt to fluctuating phosphorus (P) availability in soils by enhancing phosphate acquisition or optimizing internal P-utilization, the spatiotemporal dynamics of these responses, particularly in crops, remain poorly understood. This study systematically investigated how and when potato organs respond to fluctuating P availability across different developmental stages using transcriptomic, metabolomic, and physiological analyses of leaves, roots, and tubers. Transcriptomic data revealed dynamic, organ- and stage-specific responses to P-deficiency, with the highest number of differentially expressed genes in leaves before tuberization and in roots during tuberization.
