The utilization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and spp. correlates with improved plant nutrition and the stimulation of systemic plant defenses in response to pathogen challenges. Nonetheless, studies examining the effects of AMF colonization and the foliar application of the isolate Tvd44 on viral infection are limited.

Agriculture is extremely vulnerable to climate change and crop production is severely hampered by climate extremes. Not only does it cost growers over US$170Bln in lost production, but it also has major implications for global food security. In this study, we argue that, under current climate scenarios, agriculture in the 21 century will become saline, severely limiting (or even making impossible) the use of traditional cereal crops for human caloric intake.

Introduction: The local perception of a stimulus such as wounding can trigger plant-wide responses through the propagation of systemic signals including the vascular transport of diverse chemical messengers, the propagation of electrical changes, and even potentially hydraulic waves that rapidly spread throughout the plant body. These systemic signals trigger changes in second messengers such as Ca2+ that then play roles in triggering subsequent molecular responses. Although the glutamate receptor-like (GLR) channels GLR3.

Introduction: Transcription factors (TFs) are essential regulators of gene expression, orchestrating plant growth, development, and responses to environmental stress. , a halophytic species renowned for its exceptional salt resistance, provides an ideal model for investigating the regulatory mechanisms underlying salt tolerance.

Methods: Here, we present a comprehensive genome-wide identification and characterization of TFs in .
