Introduction: Natural skincare products and cosmetic preparations have gained popularity among consumers in recent years, prompting cosmetic companies to develop more natural offerings. These products often incorporate plant extracts known for their anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, and depigmentation properties.
Methods: Using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, this study examined the volatile compounds in both fresh and dry (key lime) fruit essential oils.

Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) remains poorly understood and its rapid growth raises concerns reminiscent of dystopian narratives. AI has shown the capability of producing new medical content and improving management through optimization and standardization, which shortens queues, while its complete reliance on technical solutions threatens the traditional doctor-patient bond.
Approach: Based on the World Economic Forum's emphasis on the need for faster AI adoption in the medical field, we highlight current gaps in the understanding of its application and offer a set of priorities for future research.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Curcumae Rhizoma, a traditional Chinese medicine derived from the dried rhizome of Curcuma species, has long been used to treat liver-related disorders. In the classical medical text Taiping Shenghui Fang, it was recorded for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) characterized by Qi stagnation and blood stasis. Its major chemical constituents include curcumin and Zedoary Turmeric Oil (ZTO).

In modern medicine, spleen, the largest secondary lymphoid organ, is responsible for red blood cell turnover and immune inductions. The immune system and spleen actively orchestrate local or systemic inflammatory responses under different disease conditions. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), spleen contributes to the body integrity and the essence of "Qi"by collaborating in concert with the other organs ("Zang" in TCM).
