Article Abstract

This manuscript includes some photophysical parameters and some optical properties such as absorption and emission spectra of the (E, E)-2,5-bis (3,4-dimethoxystyryl) pyrazine (BDP) by applying sol-gel and copolymer matrices. The BDP molecular structure is incorporated in sol-gel matrix and copolymer of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA). In case of sol-gel matrix, the BDP molecular structure has higher quantum yield in addition to photostability maxima. The laser behavior of this molecular structure containing sol-gel matrix is good senior compared to copolymer one via using diode laser (450 nm) as pumping laser of power 160 mW. Also, the fluorescence profile of the BDP molecular structure is sensitized via using cadmium sulfide (CdS) quantum dots (QDs) by applying sol-gel host. The optimized structure of the BDP molecule is obtained via applying B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory. The electronic absorption and emission spectra of the BDP molecular structure in ethanol solvent were calculated using time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) at CAM-B3LYP/6-31G +  + (d, p) level. The obtained theoretical results were compared to experimental ones.

To achieve ultrasensitive and real-time detection of the H1N1 influenza virus, this study designed a nucleic acid-free fluorescent biosensor based on 3D spherical DNA nanostructure and CRISPR/Cas12a (3D-SDNC). The biosensor constructs a rigid 3D nano-framework via self-assembly of six oligonucleotide chains, with H1N1-specific nucleic acid aptamers and Cas12a activator strands strategically positioned at multi-spined vertices for precise spatial coupling between viral recognition and signal transduction. Upon aptamer-virus binding, the induced conformational change liberates the activator strand, thereby activating the trans-cleavage activity of the Cas12a/crRNA complex to efficiently cleave the HEX/BHQ1 double-labeled fluorescent probe and initiate cascade signal amplification.

A novel and efficient hydrogen peroxide/ascorbic acid-assisted extraction method for the preparation of Grifola frondosa polysaccharide (GFP) was developed, and two GFP fractions (GFP-H and GFP-L) with different molecular weights (Mws) were obtained by separation with ultrafiltration. Both high Mw component (GFP-H, Mw 396.4 kDa) and low Mw component (GFP-L, Mw 12.

Azolo[1,5-]pyrimidines (APs) are widely recognized as challenging scaffolds for diverse applications in both medicinal chemistry and materials science. Owing to their high potential, active research is focused on developing new derivatives through the derivatization and functionalization of their molecular structure. Herein, we report an unusual transformation in the AP series initiated by a hydroperoxide anion.

An integrated miniature time-of-flight mass spectrometer (TOF-MS) system coupled with a pocket-size 3D-printed laser-induced acoustic desorption (LIAD) source is described. This 3D-printed LIAD source utilizes only a miniature deceleration motor to achieve two-dimensional motion of the target surface, simplifying the source structure and improving the long-term stability of mass spectrometry measurements. It has been successfully applied to analyze the model molecule creatinine and ingredients in an energy beverage (Red Bull), where main natural nutrients were clearly identified.

In intracellular signaling, mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) as an important mammalian target for breast cancer therapy, plays a key role in receiving upstream signals from growth factor receptors such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). Using 30 compounds from Meehania fargesii var. Radicans, structure-based virtual screening and molecular docking were performed to develop novel and safe breast cancer targeting inhibitors from natural products.
