To screen out the bio-control soil microorganisms for preventing melon wilt, soil microbial compositions in rhizospheres between wilt-resistant and susceptible melon varieties were analyzed. Objective: The aim of this study is to assess the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive surgical interventions in addressing spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage among neonates aged 0-3 months.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of 30 neonates diagnosed with spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage, who underwent minimally invasive cranial trepanation and drainage procedures at our department between 2011 and 2015.

Results: A comprehensive follow-up, spanning a duration of 1-5 years, was conducted for all 30 neonates, revealing a 100% survival rate among the pediatric cohort.

With homology cloning approaches coupling with RACE (rapid-amplification of cDNA ends) techniques, the full-length coding sequence of pathogenesis-related protein PR10-1 with differential expression was cloned from the total RNA of the root of Panax notoginseng, and its function was explored furtherly. We determined that the methanol extract of Toxicodendron sylvestre could significantly inhibit Ralstonia solanacearum in vitro and in planta. One compound responsible for the antibacterial activity was isolated from the ethyl ether extract and identified as methyl gallate (MG) based on its H and C nuclear magnetic resonance data as well as mass spectroscopy. MG displayed broad-spectrum activity against plant-pathogenic bacteria, and strong inhibitory effects on the growth of plant-pathogenic oomycetes.
