Objective: Fontan surgery constructs Total Cavo-Pulmonary Connection Circulation (TCPC), but lacks power. Cavopulmonary circulation assist devices (CPAD) has been proposed to support the Fontan circulation. The virtual implantation of blood pumps into the real TCPC structure to analyze the output characteristics of blood pump and flow pattern can better guide design of the pump and the formulation of powered Fontan surgical protocols.

Here, an atomical-rippled-nanodomains (ARNs) are introduced to BiCoO and SmCoO solid solution double-perovskite film due to its ferroelectric single-domain coupling. By engineering triaxial tensile strain, the ferroelectric ARNs are robustly formed in BiSmCoO double-perovskite films, leading to a large ferroelectric polarization (≈23.

It has been observed that when rubidium (Rb) serves as an A-site cation dopant, it tends to accumulate in the bulk region of the perovskite structure due to its pronounced affinity for Pb-I frameworks compared to FA. Consequently, Rb ions struggle to alleviate the exaggerated tensile strain induced by the bulky FA cations on the perovskite surface.

However, the species diversity of this genus remains largely unexplored due to the scarcity of available molecular sequences. This limitation has significantly hindered a comprehensive understanding of both the species diversity and evolutionary relationships of the genus .

Considering that existing methods cannot effectively deal with the conformational flexibility of peptides and find it difficult to capture accurate residue-to-residue interaction dependencies, we propose a unified peptide generative framework, PepGenWL, via a weakly order-dependent autoregressive language model and lifelong learning. PepGenWL introduces tolerance for out-of-order input as an inductive bias into the autoregressive language model, coupled with Mixture-of-Experts-style plugins to maintain the optimal trade-off between memory stability and learning plasticity across multiple rounds of fine-tuning.

β-Cyclodextrin (β-CD) is an attractive material with broad market potential across various industries. β-CD is produced from starch by β-cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (β-CGTase), while the thermal stability of β-CGTase is one of the critical limitations in industrial β-CD production. Enhancing the thermal stability of β-CGTase is essential for increasing the β-CD yield and reducing production costs.

Microalgae have attracted increasing attention as a renewable biomass source due to their rapid growth, high protein content, and potential for carbon capture and wastewater treatment. However, current research and industrial utilization primarily focus on lipids and carbohydrates for biofuel and bioproduct generation, while protein-rich residues are often discarded as waste. The valorization of microalgal proteins remains in its infancy, with limited studies addressing their full potential.

However, its adequacy is yet to be thoroughly validated. This study analyzed extensive car-borne survey data collected from 2011 to 2016 after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression with a high-degree-of-freedom model.

While surgical resection remains the mainstay of treatment for localized ccRCC, the persistence of recurrence rates underscores the significant unmet need for effective adjuvant therapies. Recent advancements in immunotherapy and targeted therapies have revolutionized the management of RCC.

In the realm of online dating, these individuals frequently encounter ghosting and romantic disillusionment, yet the mechanisms linking these experiences to depression remain unclear. Grounded in the social enhancement hypothesis, this study proposes a moderated mediation model to explore how avoidance attachment contributes to depression among Chinese online daters.

The interaction of the dysbiosis of the gut microbiota (GM) with viral infectious disease (VID) has drawn our attention, and a better understanding of the effects of GM on VID might provide potential therapeutic approaches. However, the causal effects between GM and different types of VID remain unclear. We aimed to reveal the causal relationships between GM and VID, including adenovirus, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), influenza virus subtype H1N1 (H1N1) and herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) infection.

This study used Drosophila melanogaster to test CQ's effects on healthy aging and age-related diseases.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) presents significant challenges due to its aggressive nature and resistance to conventional treatments. While CAR-T therapy has shown promise in hematologic cancers, its application in HCC is limited by the tumor microenvironment (TME), insufficient T-cell infiltration, and antigenic heterogeneity. Nanomaterials offer a promising solution by enhancing CAR-T cell delivery, activation, persistence, and overcoming the immunosuppressive TME.

Predicting the mutation prevalence trends of emerging viruses in the real world is an efficient means to update vaccines or drugs in advance. It is crucial to develop a computational method for the prediction of real-world prevalent SARS-CoV-2 mutations considering the impact of multiple selective pressures within and between hosts. Here, a deep-learning generative framework for real-world prevalent SARS-CoV-2 mutation prediction, named ViralForesight, is developed on top of protein language models and in silico virus evolution.

This study selected Small-Tail Han sheep (multi-litter sheep) and Ujumuqin sheep (single-litter sheep) as comparative models, constructed the expression profiles of ncRNAs and mRNAs in ovarian tissues, identified differentially expressed (DE) lncRNAs, circRNAs, miRNAs, and mRNAs, and performed target gene prediction along with functional and signaling pathway enrichment analyses. Reproduction-related pathways were further screened to construct competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) regulatory networks (lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA and circRNA-miRNA-mRNA).
