Structural DNA nanotechnology has emerged as a powerful tool in modern medicine, offering precise self-assembly and spatial programmability for the design of functional nanocarriers. DNA nanostructures can be categorized into one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D), and three-dimensional (3D) architectures, each with distinct advantages: 1D structures are suited for studying cellular responses to physical cues, 2D structures provide large surface areas for enhanced molecular recognition, and 3D structures enable improved cellular uptake and tissue penetration. Despite their potential, there is still no widespread consensus on the optimal structural design for specific diseases.

This systematic review aimed to compare perioperative outcome metrics, oncologic efficacy, and functional recovery outcomes between SP-RARP and MP-RARP. A thorough literature search was conducted using PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library to locate English-language research published until June 2025.

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) targeting the primary motor cortex (M1) is suggested as a treatment for NP following SCI (SCI-NP). However, the specific changes in corticospinal excitability (CSE) within the bilateral M1 remain unclear, hindering the development of optimized rTMS parameters for SCI-NP.

Methods: A cross-sectional online survey was conducted in April 2025 using snowball sampling, targeting social media users who regularly engage in physical activity. A total of 425 valid responses were analyzed.
We demonstrate an error-free data transmission system without equalization, where both transmitter and receiver are fabricated using complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) compatible germanium-silicon (GeSi) processes. By utilizing a germanium-based electro absorption modulator (EAM) and a photodetector (PD), experimental results show that the L-band transmission system can achieve error-free transmission of 32 G baud non-return-to-zero (NRZ) signals. This work paves the way for mass production of direct link systems, providing a small size, low cost, and low latency solution for board-to-board communication applications.

Background: In recent decades, cancer immunotherapy has transformed the treatment landscape, offering significant advantages over traditional therapies by improving progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). However, immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) treatment has been associated with an increased risk of mortality in its early stages. Therefore, identifying reliable biomarkers to predict which patients will benefit clinically from ICIs therapy is critical.

However, since this species was described, there have been very few reports of this species from its type locality.
New Information: We re-discovered from its type locality and collected one topotypic specimen.

Hypergraph-based modeling has gained significant attention for capturing complex higher-order interactions among vertices. While random walks serve as fundamental tools for analyzing hypergraphs, existing approaches either fail to fully leverage edge-dependent vertex weights (EDVWs) or lack sufficient expressiveness to model intricate hypergraph structures. To address these limitations, we propose a unified random walk framework that integrates hyperedge degrees and vertex weights, offering a more robust approach to hypergraph modeling.

Employing multivariate statistical methods, we aimed to construct and validate predictive models for distant metastasis (DM) risk and overall survival (OS) in patients with gallbladder cancer (GBC), using data from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results database maintained by the National Cancer Institute. These models were visualized through the development of intuitive nomograms. We extracted clinical data of all patients diagnosed with GBC between 2010 and 2015 from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results database.

While chemical algicides are widely used for HABs control due to their rapid efficacy, the lack of systematic data integration and concerns over environmental toxicity limit their broader application. To address these challenges, we developed AlgicideDB, a manually curated database containing 1,672 algicidal records on 542 algicides targeting 110 algal species.

Introduction: Hypothyroidism is a common endocrine disorder in women, which could lead to ovulation disorders and infertility, however, the effects of adult-onset hypothyroidism on ovarian development and gene expression characteristics need further study.
Methods: Here we conducted an adult-onset hypothyroidism rat model by using the methimazole (MMI) induction, then the hormone level changes and ovarian development were evaluated, furthermore, the effects of gene expression of granulosa cells and oocytes were detected by using single-cell RNA sequencing.
Results: Our results showed that, in addition to a decrease in thyroid hormones, the body weight was significantly reduced, while the estrus cycle was prolonged in the hypothyroidism group.

Depression is the most prevalent psychiatric illness, and its pathogenesis is associated with neuroinflammation. Follistatinlike protein 1 (FSTL1), a novel inflammatory protein, participates in the pathogenesis of diseases related to neuroinflammation. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effect of FSTL1 in the pathogenesis of depression mediated using neuroinflammation-mediated models.

Using genome-wide association study data from large European populations, we performed a bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. We identified single nucleotide polymorphisms strongly associated with HT and MAFLD/NAFLD, which we used as instrumental variables to probe the causal relationship between these 2 conditions.

The innovation of this paper lies in the proposal of an interactive cylinder vector teaching-learning-based optimization (ICVTLBO) algorithm, where UAV trajectory points are represented in cylindrical coordinates, and targeted interactive strategies are proposed during the teacher and learner phases to address uncertainty challenges, such as terrain elevation fluctuations and communication link instability caused by obstacles in static environments. The ICVTLBO is compared with other classical and novel algorithms on the CEC2022 benchmark function suite, demonstrating its effectiveness and reliability in solving complex optimization problems.

Soft actuators have emerged as promising tools for environmental monitoring; however, most existing actuators suffer from multistimuli cross-sensitivity and limited adaptability across various environments. Herein, we propose a bilayer soft actuator composed of a graphene-doped polydimethylsiloxane (G@PDMS) layer and a poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) layer, capable of effective deformation in both air and aqueous environments while exhibiting selective responsiveness. The actuator demonstrates multistimuli responsiveness to organic solvents/vapors, thermal radiation, and infrared (IR) radiation in air, achieving bidirectional deformation under organic stimuli with a remarkable bending angle of 630° and a load capacity of 180 times its self-weight.
