The impact of state anxiety on conflict control and its neural mechanisms, particularly in relation to proactive versus reactive control, remains incompletely understood. Therefore, we conducted two experiments to investigate how state anxiety affects conflict control across different control contexts and to explore the associated temporal dynamics. The threat of shock paradigm was employed to induce state anxiety.

Articular cartilage defects are clinically prevalent yet lack effective therapeutic solutions. Recent advancements in acellular cartilage tissue engineering combined with microfracture techniques have shown promising outcomes. Injectable hydrogels have emerged as particularly attractive scaffolds due to their minimally invasive implantation and capacity to conform to irregular cartilage defects.

Previous studies have reported controversial outcomes in patients with partial thickness cartilage loss (PTCL) who undergo mUKA. However, there is no reliable way to predict which PTCL patients do well.

Proteomic analysis of skin tissue from the SHF anagen (An), catagen (Cn), and telogen (Tn) revealed 145 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) between the An and Tn, 53 DEPs between the Cn and An, and 168 DEPs between the Cn and Tn. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations indicated that the DEPs were predominantly involved in keratin filament formation (KRTAP3-1, KRT1, KRT8), intermediate filament formation (KRT26, KRT35, KRT19, etc.

It occurs in the metaphysis of long bones and is a type of aggressive malignant tumor. Although there are treatment methods such as surgery and chemotherapy, the mortality and disability of osteosarcoma patients are still high.

Similarly, incorporating fluorinated non-canonical amino acids into macrocyclic peptides expands chemical diversity and enhances their pharmacological properties, from improved metabolic stability to enhanced cell permeability and target interactions. However, only a limited number of fluorinated non-canonical amino acids, which are canonical amino acid analogs, have been incorporated into macrocyclic peptides by ribosomes for construction and target-based screening of fluorinated macrocyclic peptides.

The variety of hair quality and shape leads to the diversity of its functions and applications, and the finer wool has a higher economic value. In this study, 10 coarse and 10 fine ordos fine wool sheep skin samples were collected for RNA-seq, and coarse and fine skin/hair follicle RNA-seq datasets of other five animal breeds were obtained from NCBI.

However, there are gaps in our current understanding of how distance perception dynamically affects inbound tourism in China. In order to understand the past patterns of inbound tourism in China, we mapped the data of 61 countries of origin from 2004 to 2018 into a dynamic expanding gravity model to understand the effects of cultural distance, institutional distance, geographical distance, and economic distance on inbound tourism in China and revealed the dynamic interaction mechanism of non-economic distance perception on inbound tourism in China.

Nanoindentation measurements were conducted to investigate the high-cycle response of 316L stainless steel in bending fatigue. Hardness variation owing to the gradient flexure stress amplitude for different curvatures was plotted along with the thickness and length, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was subsequently conducted to explore the deformation characteristics in multiple layers, which had cyclic gradient stress, on the cross-section of specimens.

The effects of the different modification methods and the order of modification on the structures and properties of bagasse CNCs were explored. The results indicated that the optimal process conditions were achieved at an acid-digestion temperature of 50 °C, a reaction time of 70 min, an ultrasonic power of 250 W, and a volume fraction of 55%.

The very high cycle fatigue (VHCF) problems of thin-plate structures are usually caused by high-frequency vibrations. This paper proposes an accelerated fatigue test method based on ultrasonic loading technology in order to develop a feasible bending testing method and explore the bending fatigue characteristics of thin-plate structures in the VHCF regime. A new bending fatigue specimen with an intrinsic frequency of 20 kHz was designed based on cantilever bending through finite element simulation.

In this work, a novel model of ultrasonic fatigue test was developed to test thin-wall material in bending up to VHCF with an accelerated frequency. The theoretical principle and finite element analysis were introduced for designing a sample that resonated at the frequency of 20 kHz in flexural vibration.

The Bone Morphogenetic Protein 15 () gene is known to have multiple single-nucleotide polymorphism sites associated with sheep fecundity. This study used gene sequence analysis and mutation detection assays for by using 205 blood samples of ewes with known lambing records. Sequence analysis showed that mutation B1 missed the CTT base in exon 1 at positions 28-30, leading to a leucine deletion in the BMP15 protein.

This article reviews and discusses the relationship between surface hydrophobicity and other surface properties of proteins and the possibility of using surface hydrophobicity as a key indicator to predict and evaluate the changes in the surface properties of a protein. Hydrophobicity is the main driving force of protein folding; it affects the structure and functions. Surface hydrophobicity and other surface properties of proteins are controlled by their spatial structures.

Selection signature provides an efficient tool to explore genes related to traits of interest. In this study, 176 ewes from one Chinese uniparous breed and three Kazakhstan multiparous breeds are genotyped using Affymetrix 600K HD single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) arrays, F-statistics (Fst), and a Cross Population Extend Haplotype Homozygosity Test (XPEHH). These are conducted to identify genomic regions that might be under selection in three population pairs comprised the one multiparous breed and the uniparous breed.
