ZIKA virus (ZIKV), an emerging pathogen for which no licensed drugs or vaccines exist, has attracted global attention. ZIKV envelope protein domainIII (EDIII) can induce neutralizing antibodies with minor cross-reactive epitopes among flaviviruses. Currently, no nanobodies against the ZIKV EDIII protein are available.

Herein, surface oxygen-doped carbon-supported Pd nanoparticles (Pd/C-O) were prepared via nitric acid oxidation and subsequent incipient wetness impregnation, demonstrating the tandem hydrogenation-acetalization-hydrogenolysis route of phenol to cyclohexyl methyl ether, achieving an significant yield of 97.9% in a methanol solvent at a low temperature of 110 °C.

However, convincing in vivo data on whether blocking GPR91 signaling leads to fibrotic regression in MASH are lacking.
Approach And Results: MASH models were induced by choline-deficient amino acid-defined diet feeding along with lipopolysaccharide injection (CDAA-LPS) plus i.
The evaluation of autonomic nervous system (ANS) function and coronary physiology through quantitative flow ratio (QFR) analysis provides a precise method for assessing the severity and prognosis of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). This study aimed to develop and validate a risk score model for predicting the long-term prognosis of non-ST-elevation ACS (NSTE-ACS) patients who underwent complete and successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). NSTE-ACS patients who underwent complete and successful PCI with preoperative and postoperative QFR measurements between January 2018 and December 2020 in our medical center were included.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly malignant tumor in women, characterized by high morbidity, mortality, and recurrence rates. Although surgical treatment, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy are the mainstays of current treatment methods, the high heterogeneity of TNBC results in unsatisfactory outcomes with low 5-year survival rates. Rapid advancements in omics technology have propelled the understanding of TNBC molecular biology.

Selective CH-OH hydrogenolysis of biomass-derived aromatic alcohols to produce methyl aromatics is crucial for synthesizing sustainable fuels and chemicals; yet traditional metal-acid bifunctional catalysis possesses significant challenges owing to its complex reaction network. Herein, a 2D-MoCO MXene was fabricated, demonstrating an efficient hydrogenolysis of 5-hydroxymethyl furfural into 5-methyl furfural, achieving an impressive yield (99.5 %) at the mild reaction temperature of 90 °C.

We recently characterized homeobox protein MSX-1 (MSX1) as a host restriction factor that inhibits HBV gene expression and genome replication by directly binding to HBV enhancer II/core promoter (EnII/Cp) and suppressing its promoter and enhancer activities. Notably, HBx expression was observed to be repressed more drastically by MSX1 compared to other viral antigens.

We explore if integrating the global registry of acute coronary events (GRACE) score with the ceramide risk score (ceramide test 1, CERT1) improves MACE prediction in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide (NTCP) has been identified as an entry receptor for hepatitis B virus (HBV), but the molecular events of the viral post-endocytosis steps remain obscure. In this study, we discovered that manganese (Mn) could strongly inhibit HBV infection in NTCP-reconstituted HepG2 cells without affecting viral replication. We therefore profiled the antiviral effects of Mn2+ in an attempt to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms involved in early HBV infection.

The leaf morphology is an important agronomic trait in crop production. Our study identified a maple leaf type () cucumber mutant and located the regulatory gene for leaf shape changes through BSA results. Hybrid F1 and F2 populations were generated by F1 self-crossing, and the candidate genes were identified within the 2.

This study aims to comprehensively assess the effect of interferon (IFN) and small-interfering RNA (siRNA) combination on the cccDNA minichromosome. Utilizing both cell and mouse cccDNA models, we compared the inhibitory effects of IFNα, siRNA, and their combination on cccDNA activity and assessed its epigenetic state.

The effect of conventional xanthate collector on flotation of a Carlin-type gold mine in Guizhou province is poor, and it can not effectively remove carbonate minerals. In this paper, butyl xanthoxanthate and benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) were used as a new combined collector for the flotation separation of a Carlintype gold mine in Guizhou Province.

Bacterial cellulose (BC) is an advantageous polymer due to its renewable nature, low cost, environmental compatibility, biocompatibility, biodegradability, chemical stability, and ease of modification. With these advantages, BC is an interesting candidate for the development of novel eco-friendly materials for proton-exchange membrane (PEM) applications. However, its practical applications have been limited by its relatively high dispersion in water, which usually occurs during the operation of proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs).

Rapid capacity fading, interfacial instability, and thermal runaway due to oxygen loss are critical obstacles hindering the practical application and commercialization of Ni-rich cathodes (LiNiCoMnO, NCM811). Herein, a Sn/F codoping and LiF-coated Ni-rich cathode, denoted as NCM811-SF, is structurally fabricated that demonstrates very high cyclic and thermal stabilities. The introduction of Sn regulates the local electronic structure and facilitates the conversion of the layered structure into a spinel phase; F captures lithium impurities to form LiF coatings and forms TM-F bonds to reduce Ni/Li disordering.

Background And Objective: Disturbed autonomic nervous system (ANS) may promote inflammatory, immune, and oxidative stress responses, which may increase the risk of acute coronary events. S100β has been proposed as a biomarker of neuronal injury that would provide an insightful understanding of the crosstalk between the ANS, immune-inflammatory cells, and plaques that drive atherosclerosis. This study investigates the correlation between S100β, and functional coronary stenosis as determined by quantitative flow ratio (QFR).
