Aims: To explore the support provision and self-support journey of partners in high-risk pregnancies with comorbidities by integrating qualitative findings.
Methods: This is a meta-synthesis of qualitative studies. We systematically reviewed six electronic databases for relevant studies published from inception to January 2025.
: Several meta-analyses have summarized the associations between dietary factors and the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, no research has comprehensively assessed the certainty of this evidence. : PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were searched from inception to August 2024.

In response to the lack of accuracy and generalization challenges in predicting soil organic matter (SOM) content in the karst mountainous agricultural soils of the Guizhou Province using hyperspectral remote sensing, a one-dimensional hyperspectral reflectance data model, termed ResNet-MHAM, was proposed. First, soil samples from 188 locations across 13 counties and districts in Guizhou were collected, and their spectral information was analyzed. Second, the ResNet structure was optimized in combination with MHAM across different layers (34, 50, 101, and 152 layers) to construct the model presented in this study.

BackgroundHearing loss has been related to impaired cognition among older adults. The cost effectiveness of existing hearing support tools is controversial. Other potential modifying strategies that could effectively intervene in this prevalent and far-reaching association between hearing loss and cognitive decline remain unclear.

Design: A prospective cohort study. The study reporting is conformed to the STROBE checklist.
Background: The post-ICU home recovery period requires patients and caregivers to confront recovery challenges and adopt coping strategies as a family dyad, necessitating effective dyadic interaction patterns. Existing qualitative research shows that the dyads face interactive or independent challenges and employs varying coping strategies, which may include strong communication or, conversely, avoidance. However, a single qualitative study alone might offer limited generalizability, and there is a lack of broader, more nuanced understanding about the recovery challenge and copings among ICU survivors and caregivers.

Objectives: We aimed to assess the potential time-varying associations between HbA and mortality, as well as the terminal trajectory of HbA in the elderly to reveal the underlying mechanisms.
Design: The design is a longitudinal study using data from the Health and Retirement Study.
Setting And Participants: Data were from the Health and Retirement Study.
Depression and cancer are both prevalent diseases worldwide. Numerous cancer patients experience psychological illnesses, especially depression, following a malignancy's dismal prognosis. Although some research has suggested that caffeine may be protective against depressive symptoms, it is still unclear how caffeine and cancer patients are related.

Although some studies have shown that obesity is associated with the risk for primary liver cancer (PLC)-related mortality, the regional and sex differences are not clear. The aim of this meta-analysis was to further elucidate the influence of obesity on PLC prognosis from multiple aspects.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFLiver metastasis is a frequent phenomenon in advanced tumor disease. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are a new class of therapeutics that can improve the prognosis of cancer patients. The purpose of this study is to elucidate the relationship between liver metastasis and survival outcomes of patients receiving ICIs treatment.

A meta-analysis was performed to explore the subgroup population with the greatest benefit of treatments containing ICBs. A total of 2228 patients from four randomized control trials were included.

As the most commonly used indicator of adiposity, the body mass index (BMI) has been questioned for its limitations in reflecting visceral fat. This study aimed to investigate the role of different anthropometric indicators in identifying the risk of PLC by accounting for potential non-linear associations.

Outcomes of interest include overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), objective response rate (ORR), grade 3-4 treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs), and incidence of treatment discontinuation due to AEs. The surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA) probability values were applied to rank the interventions.

The purpose of our study is to investigate the association of GI, GL and daily carbohydrates intake with the risk of HCC. Systematic searches were conducted in PubMed, Embase and Web of Science until November 2020.

The aim of this meta-analysis was to clarify whether baseline CRP level can serve as a biomarker to predict the efficiency of ICI therapy.
Methods: All associated articles published in the Cochrane Library, EMBASE, and PubMed databases from the inception of the database to December 30, 2021, were retrieved.
