Lutein- and astaxanthin-fortified eggs can greatly improve both nutritional and economic values of eggs. High doses of lutein and astaxanthin are often supplemented in hen diets to rapidly accumulate lutein and astaxanthin in eggs. In this study, an additional 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg lutein and astaxanthin were added in hen diets to explore the effects of high-dose lutein and astaxanthin on egg quality, egg production, and carotenoid deposition in eggs, which remains unclear.

In many clinical and research settings, the scarcity of high-quality medical imaging datasets has hampered the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) clinical applications. This issue is particularly pronounced in less common conditions, underrepresented populations and emerging imaging modalities, where the availability of diverse and comprehensive datasets is often inadequate. Endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy (ERAT) is a novel and minimally invasive technological alternative for the management of acute or chronic appendicitis. Through endoscopic appendiceal intubation, obstructions such as appendiceal feces and parasites within the appendiceal lumen can be effectively eliminated, leading to patient recovery. Objective To study the role of mouse extracellular segment protein of signal-regulatory protein α gene (mSIRPα) of mice in tumor immune regulation by cloning mSIRPα, constructing its prokaryotic expression vector and achieving the soluble expression of SIRPα. Methods The mSIRPα gene was amplified from mouse lymph node and the prokaryotic expression vector of pET32a-SIRPα was further constructed. After the soluble expression of recombinant Trx-mSIRPα fusion protein containing thioredoxin (Trx) tag was achieved, mouse bone marrow-derived monocytes were cultured and induced to differentiate into macrophages.
