Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), an aggressive hematologic malignancy with high incidence and treatment resistance, demands novel therapeutic approaches. Enhanced glycolysis is a hallmark of metabolic reprogramming in ALL. Quercetin (Que) demonstrates broad antitumor effects by inhibiting glycolysis and cell proliferation.

Background: Machine learning (ML) has been widely used to predict complications and prognosis in patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD). However, accurate and efficient models for predicting postdialysis fatigue (PDF) in this population are still needed because PDF is surprisingly prevalent.
Aims: This study aimed to explore the potential of ML models for predicting PDF in patients undergoing HD.
Human cytochrome P450 1B1 (hCYP1B1), a heme-dependent monooxygenase predominantly expressed in extrahepatic tissues, has gained prominence as a critical therapeutic target for overcoming chemotherapy resistance and suppressing tumorigenesis. To explore potential inhibitors of hCYP1B1, three series of azepinoindole derivatives were rationally designed, synthesized, and biologically evaluated in this study. Primary structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies revealed that introducing a para-nitro group (p-NO) on the C-ring enhanced anti-hCYP1B1 activity, and 15n (half-maximal inhibitory concentration [IC] = 1.

This study addresses this issue by proposing a novel filler-to-asphalt (F/A) ratio optimization strategy for recycled asphalt mastic containing 50% aged binder. Recycled mastics with F/A ratios spanning 0.

Environmental regulation faces theoretical and practical research challenges on global scale, due to differences such as language and policy environment. Research reflects the beneficial exploration of scholars, policymakers, and enterprises in the cognitive and behavioural norms of economic development, environmental protection, and social governance. This study demonstrated that the relevant research is motivated by the enaction of environmental regulations and discussed the influence of relevant research on the evolution of environmental regulations.

With unconventional oil and gas booming in commercial development, its inevitable environmental damage has aroused the public's vigilance. To support the regulation improvement and early-warning system building, it is of great need to learn the regular patterns in recurrent violations both for practitioners and governments. In this respect, we utilized the "Oil and Gas Compliance Report" from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection from 2000 to 2019, a total of 5737 violation records, to dig out the historical violation patterns.

However, 3D histological reconstruction of whole tumor has not yet been achieved. We established a high-resolution 3D model of molecular marked whole laryngeal cancer by optimizing the currently available techniques.
