Soil salinization poses a significant constraint to agricultural productivity. However, certain plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) can mitigate salinity stress and enhance crop performance. In this study, a bacterial isolate, R-18, isolated from saline-alkali soil in Ningxia, China, was identified as based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing.

The symbiotic nitrogen-fixing association between and its matching rhizobia is fundamental to its agronomic value; however, suboptimal inoculant efficiency and field application methodologies constrain its full potential. To address these limitations, we conducted a multi-phase study involving (1) rhizobial strain screening under controlled greenhouse conditions, (2) an optimized lyophilization protocol evaluating cryoprotectant (trehalose, skimmed milk powder and others), and (3) seed pelleting trails with rhizobial viability and nodulation assessments over different storage periods.

The pharmacokinetics (PK) of its active metabolite, mycophenolic acid (MPA), exhibit significant inter- and intra-individual variability. The early post-operative period is crucial for renal function recovery, and MPA exposure is linked to acute rejection.

Here a small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting Fmr1 is designed for tumor site delivery to suppress FMRP expression and enhance immune activation. Lipid nanoparticles loaded with siFmr1 (LNP@siFmr1) are prepared using a microfluidic-based electrospray method, achieving optimal particle size, encapsulation efficiency, and stability.

In this work, we synthesized an unprecedented bowknot-like selenotungstates, [CeSeWO(OH)(HO)(mal)] (, Hmal = dl-malic acid) via an assembly strategy. The three building units, including tetravacant Keggin-{SeW}, bivacant Dawson-{SeW}, and trivacant Keggin-{SeW}, were self-assembled by the connection of {W}, independent {SeO} fragments, and seven mutually isolated Ce ions to form the unique asymmetric structure, which was further extended to the bowknot-like dimeric structure and the 1D chain structure by symmetry.

Background: Recent reports suggest antibiotics may cause severe allergic reactions, such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), exacerbating concerns about antibiotic safety.
Objective: Given the limited real-world evidence, this study aims to analyse the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System to investigate the association between various antibiotics and SJS/TEN risk.
Methods: Reports from infected patients (Q1 2014-Q4 2023) were extracted from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System.
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been proven promising ultralong room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials for anticounterfeit due to their unique optical properties. However, it remains a major challenge to achieve the desired phosphorescent properties due to the limited regulatory methods and indistinct mechanism. Herein, the coordination solvent and second metal ion costrategy is firstly proposed to prepare seven robust heterometallic-organic frameworks (HMOFs) with two configurations, ZnMg/Ca-sol [sol = HO, dimethylformamide (DMF), dimethylacetamide (DMA), and formyldiethylamine (DEF)] and ZnSr/Ba-HO, exhibiting different ultralong RTP.

A Tm(III)-rich silicotungstate Na{Tm(HO)[Tm(HO)(SiWO)]}·35HO () based on the open Wells-Dawson-type [SiWO] building unit was synthesized by the reaction of Na[α-SiWO]·18HO, itaconic acid, and TmCl in a HAc/NaAc buffer solution. Five kinds of Tm(III) ions were found in this compound and further linked the {TmSiW} subunit to form an interesting wavy 1D chain structure, which achieved the introduction of more lanthanide (Ln) ions into the [SiWO] unit for the first time. contains multiple exposed Tm-metal active sites, making it an efficient catalyst for the acetalization of 2-aminobenzamides/2-aminobenzenesulphonamides with aldehydes.

Background: Liver injury from drug-drug interactions (DDIs), notably with anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, poses a significant safety concern. Electronic medical records contain comprehensive clinical information and have gained increasing attention as a potential resource for DDI detection. However, a substantial portion of adverse drug reaction (ADR) information is hidden in unstructured narrative text, which has yet to be efficiently harnessed, thereby introducing bias into the research.
