Neuroinflammation is the major contributor to the pathology of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic (HI) brain injury. Our previous studies have demonstrated that microRNA210 (miR210) inhibition with antisense locked nucleic acid (LNA) inhibitor mitigates neuroinflammation and provides neuroprotection after neonatal HI insult. However, the underlying mechanisms remain elusive.

Axionlike particles (ALPs) and dark photons (DPs) are viable dark matter particle candidates. We have searched for possible ALP/DP signals in the PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector using 440  kg·yr of data. A binned likelihood fit is constructed to search for possible mono-energetic peaks induced by the absorption processes between ALPs/DPs and atomic electrons of xenon.

New particles beyond the standard model of particle physics, such as axions, can be effectively searched through their interactions with electrons. We use the large liquid xenon detector PandaX-4T to search for novel electronic recoil signals induced by solar axions, neutrinos with anomalous magnetic moment, axionlike particles, dark photons, and light fermionic dark matter. A detailed background model is established using the latest datasets with 1.

Wearable and implantable biosensors are pioneering new frontiers in precision medicine by enabling continuous biomolecule analysis for fundamental investigation and personalized health monitoring. However, their widespread adoption remains impeded by challenges such as the limited number of detectable targets, operational instability and production scalability. Here, to address these issues, we introduce printable core-shell nanoparticles with built-in dual functionality: a molecularly imprinted polymer shell for customizable target recognition, and a nickel hexacyanoferrate core for stable electrochemical transduction.

The Xuanfei Baidu (XFBD) prescription, a traditional Chinese medicine prescription, has demonstrated significant anti-inflammatory activities; however, the number of its reported constituents is limited, and its anti-inflammatory constituents are unclear. In this study, the constituents of XFBD granule, a granule dosage of XFBD prescription, were thoroughly examined in vitro and in vivo using liquid chromatography-quadruple-time-of-flight-mass spectrometry, and the anti-inflammatory constituents were screened. A total of 214 constituents were identified from the XFBD granule, 62 of which were confirmed via comparison with reference standards.

Practical gas sensing application requires sensors to quantify target analytes with high sensitivity and reproducibility. However, conventional surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensor lacks reproducibility and quantification arising from variations of "hot spot" distribution and measurement conditions. Here, a ratio-dependent SERS sensor was developed for quantitative label-free gas sensing.
