The analysis of single-cell transcriptome profiling of tumour tissue isolates helps to identify heterogeneous tumour cells, neighbouring stromal cells and immune cells. Local metastasis of lymph nodes is the most dominant and influential biological behaviors of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) in terms of treatment prognosis. Understanding metastasis initiation and progression is important for the discovery of new treatments for OSCC and prediction of clinical responses to immunotherapy.

The Regulatory Effect of Vitamin D on Pancreatic Beta Cell Secretion in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.

Increasing evidence suggests that vitamin D is one of the causes of accelerated development of Insulin Resistance (IR) and islet cell secret dysfunction. Synthesis, antitumor evaluation and computational study of thiazolidinone derivatives of dehydroabietic acid-based B ring-fused-thiazole.

In an attempt to search for new natural product-based antitumor agents, a series of novel thiazolidinone derivatives of dehydroabietic acid-based B ring-fused-thiazole were designed and synthesized. The primary antitumor tests showed that compounds 5 m exhibited almost the best inhibitory activity against the tested cancer cells. The computational study suggested NOTCH1, IGF1R, TLR4, and KDR were the core targets of the title compounds, and the IC of SCC9 and Cal27 is strong correlation with the binding ability of TLR4 and compounds.

Correction of multi-scale sunglint reflections from the water surface in airborne high-spatial resolution optical images.

Airborne optical images (AOI) are often with complex sunglint reflections, which brings a certain influence to watercolor retrieval. This includes the sunglint reflection with water surface statistical distribution characteristics caused by imaging viewing angles differences, with high spatial resolution surface discrete characteristics sharing similar viewing angles, and the surface Fresnel reflection sunglint differences caused by the skylight difference during the flight of unmanned aerial vehicles. Aiming at the multiscale optical characteristics of sunglint reflection in high spatial resolution AOI, based on multi-path optical radiation transmission, the sunglint reflection interference from three different imaging processes is clarified.

A Combination Analysis of IVIM-DWI Biomarkers and T2WI-Based Texture Features for Tumor Differentiation Grade of Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Purpose: To explore the value of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI) and texture analysis on T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) for evaluating pathological differentiation of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

Method: This retrospective study included a total of 138 patients with pathologically confirmed poor/moderate/well-differentiated (71/49/18) who underwent conventional MRI and IVIM-DWI scans. The values of ADC, , , and and 58 T2WI-based texture features (18 histogram features, 24 gray-level co-occurrence matrix features, and 16 gray-level run length matrix features) were obtained.

A novel strategy for microRNAs (miRNAs) detection has been developed utilizing duplex-specific nuclease-assisted signal amplification (DSNSA) and guanine-rich DNA-enhanced fluorescence of DNA-templated silver nanoclusters (AgNCs). The combination between target miRNA, DSNSA, and AgNCs is achieved by the unique design of DNA sequences. Target miRNA opens the hairpin structure of the Hairpin DNA probe (HP) by hybridizing with the HP and initiates the duplex-specific nuclease-assisted signal amplification (DSNSA) reaction.

An online coronavirus analysis platform from the National Genomics Data Center.

Since the first reported severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in December 2019, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a global pandemic, spreading to more than 200 countries and regions worldwide. With continued research progress and virus detection, SARS-CoV-2 genomes and sequencing data have been reported and accumulated at an unprecedented rate. To meet the need for fast analysis of these genome sequences, the National Genomics Data Center (NGDC) of the China National Center for Bioinformation (CNCB) has established an online coronavirus analysis platform, which includes assembly, BLAST alignment, genome annotation, variant identification, and variant annotation modules.

Purpose: To evaluate whether autologous cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cell immunotherapy improves the prognosis of patients with high-risk diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) after the first complete remission (CR).

Patients And Methods: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were extracted from 20 patients with high-risk DLBCL (IPI≥3) after the first CR. Twenty CR patients who were age- and sex-matched during the same period were selected as controls.
