We have achieved a controllable transformation of covalent organic framework (COF) isomers from BATD-Dma-COF-K (dual pores) to BATD-Dma-COF-R (single pores). The fluorescence of BATD-Dma-COF-K was enhanced by clinafloxacin (CFN). After transformation from dual pores to single pores, BATD-Dma-COF-R can effectively adsorb CFN, but cannot fluoresce to detect CFN.

The Hetao irrigation area is one of the largest irrigation areas in the Yellow River Basin and is a typical salinized agricultural area. Crop type shifts can affect soil stoichiometric ratio characteristics, indicating soil nitrogen and phosphorus availability and the soil degradation process. However, few studies have been conducted in this area.

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) lineages circulate globally in healthcare, community, and livestock-associated (LA) settings. Nine MRSA isolates were recovered from swine in China, all exhibiting resistance to ampicillin and multidrug resistance phenotypes. Among eight ST9-t899 isolates, SCCmec type XII(9C2) predominated.

The Hetao irrigation area is one of the largest irrigation areas in the Yellow River Basin and a typical salinized agricultural area. Crop type shifts in this area can alter soil phosphorus (P) morphology and microbial functional diversity, thereby influencing soil P losses. However, few studies have elucidated the underlying mechanisms.

The global oat harvest area occupied by China has been increasing annually. In this study, the fatty acid and triacylglycerol compositions, lipid concomitants, and antioxidant capacities of 16 oat oil cultivars in China were compared. All oat oils were found to be rich in unsaturated fatty acids (UFA), particularly oleic acid and linoleic acid.

MRGPRX1 plays dual roles in mediating nociception and pruritus, making it a promising target for alleviating itch and inhibiting pain. However, the mechanisms underlying MRGPRX1 activation and allosteric modulation remain poorly understood, posing significant challenges for structure-based drug discovery. Here, we employ Gaussian accelerated molecular dynamics (GaMD) for enhanced sampling of MRGPRX1, successfully obtaining a stable inactive conformation of the unbound receptor for the first time.

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), the etiology of porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED), continues to impose severe economic burdens on pig farms in China. The continuous emergence of new variant strains makes it difficult for vaccinated sows to provide protective immunity to piglets. Hence, there is an urgent need for efficacious therapeutic drugs in clinical practice.

The ideal multifunctional platform that combines the capabilities of effective capture, sensitive detection, and accurate identification of doxycycline analogs (DCs) remains a serious challenge for ensuring the environment and food security. This work constructs heterostructure Zn-MOF/HOF asynchronous response fluorescence sensor using a multicomponent one-pot method for high-efficiency capturing and sensitive detecting DCs. Metal nodes and functional groups in Zn-MOF/HOF provide sites for specifically recognizing and sensitizing DCs that induce asynchronous response with blue/green fluorescence emission.

PfAgo, a thermophilic Argonaute nuclease from Pyrococcus furiosus, is widely used in various fields due to its high DNA-guided DNA cleavage activity. However, its high-temperature-dependent cleavage activity largely restricts its applications in moderate-temperature scenarios. In this study, PfAgo is engineered for cold adaptation based on its ternary complex structure and the attributes of cold-adapted enzymes, yielding a series of variants with better performance at moderate temperatures.

This study aims to explore the feasibility and accuracy of deep learning-based pediatric behavioral audiometry. The research provides a dedicated pediatric posture detection dataset, which contains a large number of video clips from children's behavioral hearing tests, encompassing various typical hearing test actions. A detection platform based on this dataset is also constructed, named intelligent diagnostic model of pediatric hearing based on optimized transformer (DoT); further, an estimation model of patient skeletal keypoints based on optimized transformer (POTR) was proposed to estimate human skeleton points.

Heavy metal ions (HMIs) in food pose significant health risks due to their bioaccumulation and toxicity, necessitating effective detection and remediation methods. This study explores a multifunctional hydrogen-bonded organic framework (HOF-16) wrapped in sodium alginate (SA) to form a stable HOF-16/SA aerogel for detecting and removing HMIs in pear juice. The HOF-16 fluorescence probe exhibits excellent sensitivity with limits of detection of 0.

Background: Previous studies have demonstrated that short-term exposure to ambient particulate matter elevates the risk of ischemic stroke in major urban areas of various countries. However, there is a notable gap in research focusing on remote areas inhabited by ethnic minorities and the cumulative effects of air pollutants. Our study conducted in the area aims to explore the potential association between ischemic stroke and air pollutants and contribute to improving health outcomes among the community.

Pharmaceutical labeling is widely used for drug information identification, though compatibility risks persist despite no direct drug contact. This migration risk arises from the semi-permeable nature of primary packaging materials, allowing label additives to permeate into drug formulations. A substantial number of emerging additives, either novel therapeutic agents or structural mimics of prohibited substances, hinder unambiguous liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) identification.

To address freshwater lake blooms resulting from eutrophication, the application of quaternary ammonium compounds as algaecides serves as an effective emergency remediation strategy. Didecyl methylpropyl ammonium iodide (DMPAI) is a novel quaternary ammonium algaecide; however, its bacteriostatic properties may significantly disrupt the microbial activity in lakes, particularly within the lake-terrestrial ecotone. To investigate the degradation process of DMPAI in the lake-terrestrial ecotone and its impact on the microbial community, experiments were conducted using a large-scale indoor simulation device to analyze DMPAI concentrations, the composition of the lake microbial community, and associated gene functions.

Objective: Sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of malignancies, low disease-control levels and the limited durability of responses have prompted the exploration of various novel immunotherapeutic approaches. To preliminarily explore the feasibility of cancer vaccines based on cancer testis antigen in the immunotherapy of sarcomas, we investigate the expression of Cancer/Testis Antigens (CTA) MAGE-A4, PRAME, MAGE-A1, KK-LC-1, and NY-ESO-1 in bone and soft tissue sarcomas, with the aim of assessing their potential for use in sarcoma immunotherapy and determining their expression levels in different subtypes.

Methods And Results: We employed immunohistochemistry and multiplex immunostaining microarrays (MI chips) to assess the expression of MAGE-A4, PRAME, MAGE-A1, KK-LC-1, and NY-ESO-1 in 21 cases of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS), 26 cases of smooth muscle sarcoma, 28 cases of liposarcoma, 40 cases of osteosarcoma (OS), and 13 cases of chondrosarcoma.

Gambogic acid(GA)is a natural compound that exhibits strong antitumor activity against a variety of tumors. However, its poor water solubility, low specificity, and high toxicity lead to inevitable systemic adverse effects. To minimize side effects, combining gambogic acid (GA) with delivery systems such as nanohydrogels to develop an in situ vaccine system (ISV) shows great promise.
