The understanding of the impact of heterogeneous landforms within river wetland systems on soil organic carbon is rather limited. We conducted plant community surveys and soil sample collection on four main types of micro landforms, namely the Zhuxi River bank slope, edge beach, floodplain, and heart beach of Wannian Zhuxi National Wetland Park in Jiangxi Province. We measured soil physical and chemical properties and the contents of soil organic carbon components at depths of 0-30 cm for different micro landforms.

Objective: Constructing a predictive model for sleep quality in embryo Repeated Implantation Failure(RIF) patients using multiple machine learning algorithms, verifying its performance, and selecting the optimal model.

Methods: Retrospective collection of clinical data from RIF patients who underwent assisted reproductive technology at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Tongji University Affiliated Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from January 2022 to June 2022, divided into a training set and a validation set in an 8:2 ratio. Use Lasso regression to screen variables and construct a risk prediction model using six machine learning algorithms.

The mineral protection of iron oxides is considered as one of the key mechanisms for the long-term stability of soil organic carbon. To investigate the distribution patterns and regulatory mechanisms of soil iron-bound organic carbon (Fe-OC) at the soil profile scale, we collected soil samples of high beach, middle beach, low beach and mud flat along the elevation gradient in Nanji Wetland National Nature Reserve of Poyang Lake, and measured soil basic physicochemical properties, the different soil iron fractions, and the Fe-OC content in the 0-100 cm profiles. The results showed that the average contents of Fe-OC at different elevations was (0.

IFN-λs hold promise as therapeutic candidates against mutable respiratory viruses, but their efficacy against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) remains unclear. In this study, we expressed a recombinant fusion protein consisting of porcine ISG15 linked porcine IFN-λ3 (ISG15-IFN-λ3) via a rigid protein linker in Escherichia coli (E. coli).

Purpose: To explore the effect of fine management combined with man-machine fixation mode in reducing the attrition rate of laparoscopic instruments.

Methods: This is a non-randomized, concurrent controlled study, from December 1, 2023, to May 1, 2024, the use of 4 laparoscopic instruments in the operating room which belongs to shanghai first maternity and infant hospital was analyzed. The instruments were divided into two groups, and the control group was managed by conventional methods.

Studying the stoichiometric characteristics of soil nutrients aids in evaluating soil quality and deciphering the coupling of soil nutrients. The influence of migratory bird activities on the dynamics of wetland soil nutrients and their stoichiometric remains unclear. We classified the central, peripheral and adjacent natural grassy areas as severe, mild, and no bird activity (control), respectively, in Donghu meadow, a representative migratory bird habitat in Poyang Lake, based on flock characteristics and initial surveys.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic used to be a major public health emergency which affected people worldwide, and it affected individuals' body, mood, work and lifestyle to some extent. The pregnant woman affected by the unstable hormone will be more sensitive than normal ones. Long-term depression and anxiety could feedback on their body and lead to a host of pregnancy complications.

After the stimulation of neurodermis, in the first stage, the relevant literature of each stage can be obtained through the relevant computer detection method. At the same time, also to the relevant database and scientific network research, and the influence of TENS tight comparison, the investigation is two years, using a series of score evaluation into the quality of the literature, in the process of inclusion if a certain funnel diagram analysis, the analysis results will be expressed according to the forest diagram, can get the final results in the review of many types of research, and then according to different types of research, delete the content of duplicate related reading topics. After reading the full text, if the content meets the inclusion criteria, it will show no significant difference between the effect of the control group and the pain effect of the experimental group, but the time of delivery is shorter than that of the control group, the pain intensity of TENS will decrease, thus shortening the labor time of each period.

Pancreatic β-cell compensation is a major mechanism in delaying T2DM progression. Here we report the abnormal high expression of circGlis3 in islets of male mice with obesity and serum of people with obesity. Increasing circGlis3 is regulated by Quaking (QKI)-mediated splicing circularization.

Aims: Although brain metastasis from gastric adenocarcinoma (GaC) is rare, it may significantly affect survival and quality of life. The aim of this large, comprehensive, population-based cohort investigation was to investigate factors that were associated with brain metastasis from GaC and to explore the prognostic factors and time-dependent cumulative mortalities among cases with GaC and brain involvement.

Methods: Population-based information on cases with GaC diagnosed from 2010 to 2016 was obtained from a large-scale database.

The clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-Cas system provides prokaryotes with protection against mobile genetic elements such as phages. In turn, phages deploy anti-CRISPR (Acr) proteins to evade this immunity. AcrIF4, an Acr targeting the type I-F CRISPR-Cas system, has been reported to bind the crRNA-guided surveillance (Csy) complex.

Background: Cancer is mostly a disease of aging, and older patients with cancer are generally frailer. This study aimed to describe the characteristics and in-hospital outcomes and explore factors associated with duration, cost, and mortality during first hospitalization, in older patients with cancer admitted to a top-ranked hospital in China.

Methods: Data on patients with solid cancer ≥65 years consecutively hospitalized in 2016-2020 were retrieved from the electronic medical records of Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai, China.

Background: Low risk pregnancy ending in a vaginal birth is best served and guided by a midwife. Utilizing a midwife in such cases offers many emotional and economic advantages and does not increase the risks for mother or neonate. However, women's experience and satisfaction of midwife-led maternity care is rarely reported in China.

Background: Fatty liver index (FLI) was recently established to predict non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in general population, which is known to be associated with coronary artery atherosclerotic disease (CAD).This study aims to investigate whether FLI correlates with NAFLD and with newly diagnosed CAD in a special Chinese population who underwent coronary angiography.

Methods: Patients with CAD (n = 231) and without CAD (n = 482) as confirmed by coronary angiography were included.
